  1. Past hour
  2. Power play looked much better. Liked the movement to get the box spaced out, and is Stankoven on point new?
  3. I was hoping we might trade up in the 2nd and grab'em ...I guess the secret is out though. Whatever the choice is we HAVE to nail the first two at minimum.
  4. lol Freddie’s been all over the place but oh my that save!
  5. Only the stickiest of the icky for our boy tonight!
  6. But he knows how to win in the playoffs
  7. Save a goal, get a goal. Stankoven line on fire.
  8. Whatever I said about Logan Stankoven, I was wrong. I kneel.
  9. that did it. LeCuck in the box. Stank on the PP!
  10. I don't think this is far fetched at all. He would be a starter in a position of need. Do not want a WR or a TE in the first.
  11. He sounded the siren one night this season. He looked like he just woke up from a nap under an overpass somewhere.
  12. very fair assessment, wait a minute is this the same Juan?!?!?!
  13. It’s definitely a bit of a crapshoot, but Joe covers the team for a living—there’s a baseline expectation that he should have a deep, working knowledge of the roster, positional groups, and overall team needs. That kind of familiarity should come through in the analysis. At times, though, it feels more like he approaches covering the Panthers as an assignment rather than something he’s genuinely invested in. When you read some of the other beat writers at The Athletic, the contrast stands out. There’s a noticeable difference in how deeply they dive into roster construction, scheme fits, player development, and front office philosophy. Their work often feels more detailed, more nuanced, and more connected to the day-to-day reality of the team. That’s not to say Joe doesn’t provide value, but compared to some of his peers, the level of insight and depth just doesn’t always feel as sharp or as thorough as it could be
  14. Per Tony Pauline: https://www.essentiallysports.com/nfl-active-news-sources-giants-heavily-weighing-wr-with-ten-pick-amid-malik-nabers-injury-concerns-david-bailey-a-game-changer-for-robert-saleh/ Surprise Picks In The First Round As we get closer to the draft, the chatter is getting louder about surprise picks in the bottom half of Round 1. So which teams are talked about as pulling shockers right now, just a few days out from the start of the draft? Most I’ve spoken with say keep an eye on picks 20, 21, and 22, presently owned by the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Los Angeles Chargers. I’m told cornerback Chris Johnson and linebacker Jacob Rodriguez are in play for the Cowboys with the 20th pick, their second selection in the initial round. Rodriguez is also being spoken about as a possibility for the Buffalo Bills at the 26th pick.
  15. Who was better Jon Beason or Jrod???, for college prospect terms in their drafts... I think its clear and Jon was what 25th? Jarod does have luke-like traits and that was 9th overall. I feel Jon had him covered tho....
  16. Franchise legend Luke Kuechly and longtime snapper JJ Jansen chatted about the outlook of the 2026 NFL Draft on the latest episode of their podcast, JJ and Luke. When the conversation ventured into Kuechly's expertise, the soon-to-be Pro Football Hall of Famer gave a pretty strong endorsement of a potential target for Carolina—Texas Tech linebacker Jacob Rodriguez . . . Jacob Rodriguez is Luke’s favorite LB https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2026/04/09/nfl-draft-panthers-luke-kuechly-jacob-rodriguez/89527881007/
  17. Yeah, a non-premium position and pretty much expected day two pick. That would be foolish. Depending upon who wants to move up for whom, I'd be trying to swap picks in the first AND move up in the second, if not outright pick up a second.
  18. Now this- I feel 95% all the Tmac downplaying/falling rumors was done my panthers org and there's was loads of it. You maybe right and one or two are overfilling the media with "knee knee knee knee, but his knee, but other team flagged his knee, etc etc." He did visit the Panthers and took the whole year off. Im still sticking with him as my wildcard. The word the main worry is his 2nd contract, like ??? So he balls out for 4 years(or 5) on the cheap and the worry is paying him top bag cause his knee doesn't have the mileage? I hate these medical deal.......Hell I member all the huddle screaming for Trey Smith falling until the 6th cause of "medicals" ....... all that happened was he became the highest paid OG while playing great....while the Panthers took a long safety that got cut day 2.......they then dropped 163 million on OGs.......been nice to have a 4 yr rookie deal @ 8 million other than 163,000,000....ugh
  19. I wouldn’t be surprised if a few ILBs go in the bottom half of the first.
  20. not at 19. I would expect a trade down in the 1st or a trade up in the 2nd but to stand pat at 19 and take him, thats not gonna happen
  21. John from One Carolina Show is one of the top Panthers YouTubers—his takes are consistently thoughtful, insightful, and on point. Not saying he's right but it makes a lot of sense.
  22. Today
  23. I'm curious if the knee concerns are smoke and mirrors from teams. Haven't seen any real details about what is making the knee a concern. The ACL injury makes sense, but that isn't the worst thing with the medical advances towards ACL surgeries and rehab. I guess we will find out how concerned teams are by his medicals in the draft. There is no way he makes it to us at 19 unless the medicals are a red flag
