hes made his money he can most certainly GTFO

I fully agree with you and think the Panthers will bring in a free agent QB to compete with Bryce Young, and possibly draft one if there is one available they like. I’m not sure who ends up starting, ( hopfully not Bryce Young ) but I think you go into camp with a QB competition and let it play out
-
This draft class is weak other than maybe Mendoza. And it looks like many are returning. I would really rather take a chance on getting another Darnold, Mayfield, Geno Smith, Daniel Jones story. Than draft in a weak class like we did with Bryce. I can already see us taking LaNorris Sellers to turn him into Cam to realize he’s Anthony Richardson.

It is brutal alright. I hope we won’t argue over degrees of GTFO.

I’m not sure people understand how fuging bad it is
Cpt slay a ho replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think the fact that his leash has been long is the most deflating part, like what on gods green earth are they seeing to give such a long leash for sub par performance over the stretch of 3 years…..the fact that they were willing to flush 2 season down the drain without bringing in any real competition and continue the coddle fest isn’t very encouraging -
Bryce has beaten falcons 4 times and rest of league 8 times. All by 3 or less or in OT except for Jets 13-7. Bryce had only beaten two playoff teams ever Houston and GB fuging brutal
-
I would be more generous than that, and have never wanted anything to do with him. Poison pill that he is. I probably give maybe 4 actual good games and about the same number of okay, not his usual lose the game for us games. Out of 40.

Sign anyone that doesn't have the worst metrics for a starting qb in the last...well, ever.

Best of the defense 1. CB Jaycee Horn: 94.0 2. OLB Princely Umanmielen: 84.7 3. CB Mike Jackson: 79.2 4. OLB Trevis Gipson: 76.5 5. OLB Nic Scourton: 71.5 Horn posted the best overall grade of his career before exiting in the first half due to a concussion. He picked off 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy twice. His 94.7 coverage grade is also a career-high https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/11/25/panthers-pff-grades-week-12-49ers/87464046007/

In terms of trade capital or contract? I would imagine both would be dirt cheap. He is on a deal currently through 26 for what looks like between 2-3 million depending on how the bonus is paid out
-
Best of the offense 1. RT Taylor Moton: 78.8 2. LG Damien Lewis: 70.9 3. WR Jimmy Horn Jr.: 67.6 4. C Austin Corbett: 67.1 5. RG Jake Curhan: 66.9 Moton and Lewis combined to allow just one pressure over 34 opportunities. Curhan, who played 26 snaps in place of an injured Chandler Zavala, earned decent marks in pass blocking (62.0) and run blocking (63.6)

What would he cost?

We dont know how anyone feels about going forward with bryce, nobody has asked anyone the question. We do know through actions that there is no fuging way Canales overly trusts him behind center. I dont know after 30+ games how the hell you couldnt have a concrete opinion by now. Ellis was all over fnz and twitter today screaming about "letting it play out". What the fug is 5 games going to show you after all we have seen? Everyone but a few on here rightly, thought he had turned the proverbial corner last year. It was clearly smoke and mirrors. He could win out and they still have to bring in competition, you simply cannot risk it again him being dogshit to start the year and then when he levels out its the classic sub 200 games. I half assed looked for the quote from whatever writer (maybe it was on a podcast) about how after the atl game running it back was a real possibility with Dalton and bryce. There is simply no way that could possibly happen. No way. Thats some playground poo.

Kaye really went out on limb

They beat the rams and Seahawks but they’re also third in their division. They know what they are. lots of panthers fans here and elsewhere have unrealistic expectations or the current team or aren’t putting the record into proper context.
-
If the Panthers lose all of the remaing games, or only win one, hopefully the light will come on in Teppers head and make him see and feel the same things we do.
-
Levis and Zac are some decent low risk high reward options Vets like jameis and Mitch I think would put us in playoff contention(draft a qb in 2nd or later) all good ideas but I don’t think this regime is interested in smart decision making when it comes to a football team
-
Under contract or not, he should be done. Give him a clipboard and let him walk the side line.
-
He has 2 good games in his entire career. Atlanta this year and GB his rookie year. Every other game was average/subpar or awful. That’s it
-
If this is the case fug the Panthers next season, its a shame to waste another year of young talent on that pos QB. fug a contract, do what is best for the other 52 guys on the roster.
