You want to talk about a winning culture, guys on the bench need to know that if they bust their ass and ball out that they'll actually be able to win a starting spot. Nothing more demoralizing having guys know that it doesn't matter what they do, the chosen team favorite is getting the snaps regardless. Dowdle had a 2 game stretch that was among the greatest in NFL history, and they still sent his ass to the bench to play backup for a guy that was coming back from injury and not even back up to speed yet. Crazy.

I’m more concerned about Horrible PP coaching, PP is even worse than last years. Need to bring in a great PP coach.

I stopped watching after the first series in the second half because losing to better teams is one thing, but blowouts? .and those blowouts happen far too often …they are becoming his MO as HC against better teams Against the 31st run defense in the league, he came out throwing….who didn’t know that was going to happen. There is no excuse. I can't get past his decision making. If Dave thought the last game and this game were the right game plans and the guys just didnt execute, well you cant have someone like that anywhere near the team. I'm sorry, but this has Tepper's fingerprints all over it. There are only two things I think happened. Tepper is telling these coaches what is going to happen in game. If Tepper is still doing this, you can go ahead and forget the Panthers while he is there. If he is STILL telling coaches what they will do, it is completely over for the Panthers. He is too dumb to give any input. If Tepper is coaching, we would be better with no coach. He is really that stupid. But there is a good chance they threw that game. Everyone better hope that the Pamthers threw that game (I honestly don't see how they couldnt have thrown it.) Only people who watched the game would really understand what happened. If you watched the game you know. But we better hope we get caught throwing games and the team gets absolutely destroyed. But that they find out Tepper was involved and they have to kick him out of the league. This is the absolute best scenario for the Panthers. And no, I'm not joking. I mean, that sounds good. I will say that I kind of cringe when people say we overpaid for for an O-line because if you want the best players, or even quality players on the O-line, you're going to have to pay. They were proven players, one arguably the best at his position in football, so you're going to back up the Brinks truck. I don't see it as overpaying as much as I see it shifting your priorities in light of your situation and market conditions. Now with an RB, those generally are easier to get and easier to replace, especially if you have a good O-line. We could've let Chuba walk and still kept rolling a lot easier than continuing to roll the dice on backups starting on the O-line. I can't even remember who was available, but I'd bet that there was someone available who could replace Chuba's production. That being said, we've been told in this thread that Chuba's contract was structured in a way that facilitates minimal pain if we decide to move on from him. If that's so, then it was smart and someone in the FO had a little foresight (and probably understands the PR side of things, as well as the pure numbers side).

I mean special in terms of some of the physical feats. Everyone knew he needed refinement when he was drafted and he struggled with accuracy. But if you can harness that physical ability? He is capable of things physically that 99% of the population, including other QBs, could only have wet dreams about.
