Maxx Crosby is not happy
Move the Panthers to Raleigh replied to cranky's topic in Carolina Panthers
Why does he spell his name like some pornstar though? - Today
-
At this point I think we're better off with T-mac/Coker/DMoore/Jimmy if we're actually trying to make the playoffs. It's actually kind of a shame they didn't give Jimmy Horn more looks downfield this season instead of limiting him to those jet sweeps every time he gets called in. It's too late to experiment at this point unless we win Sunday and the Bucs lose
-
C'mon now with with 89 doing a boner pill commercial at the 12 minute mark lol. "I'm older too, and I'm also single now"

BREAKING NEWS: Trevin Wallace out for the year
BEASTfromdaEAST replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
AJ Barner bout to feast on our LB room come Sunday... Whole game plan will prob be to stop JSN and run game, with our LB corp as thin right now it could be a BIG problem -
i think the raiders could use a country boy WR that likes eating steamed raccoon testicles
-
But cam was like a whimsical guy and fun. Crosby is not that at all. He’s talented but hard to root for in my opinion
-
we had a qb that dressed like willy wonka and he gave us our best seasons. who cares about that poo (maxx would never come here though, you are right about that)
-
I think I could put up with a cornball for 10 sacks lol. But your probably right that he would never come here.

BREAKING NEWS: Trevin Wallace out for the year

If you get a chance to upgrade either(or both) EDGE spots, you do so. Doesn't mean Scourton shouldn't get reps, after all we will see plenty of reps from the two deep. We just need to get that front 7 better overall. You hope our young guys keep getting better and eventually become either very good rotational players or elite guys. -
BREAKING NEWS: Trevin Wallace out for the year
RJK replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Like 53 better anyway and i still like what barnes did when he had to start. I'm not as down on the LB position as most on here. We've been spoiled by elite LB play so it's tough to fill those shoes. -
BREAKING NEWS: Trevin Wallace out for the year
Swaggasaurus replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nic is a player for us at strong side end or edge or whatever you want to call it. He’s good at handling blocks and setting the edge, probably best at play recognition right now. He’s got to work on his body and his get off in the offseason to have a rush threat tho. Need a pass rush specialist at that other edge spot for sure. -
Surprise! Wait… Surprise Again! Kon Looks Really Good!

My stomach turned when he went down. Such a cursed franchise. -

ILB's are bad but the EDGE guys are underwhelming too. Upgrades across the board are needed. If Scourton or Umanmielen pan out, fantastic, but it's unwise to assume they will. -
cranky started following Maxx Crosby is not happy

Apparently the Raiders are in tank mode and have informed Crosby he will not be playing for the remainder of the season and he is NOT happy. "Via Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, the Raiders told Crosby they plan to shut him down for the final two games of a lost season that is creeping toward enough losses to secure the top spot in every round of the 2026 draft. Per Glazer, Crosby “vehemently disagreed” with the proposal — and has “left the building.” And apparently his contract is set up to easily be traded. "Maxx Crosby contract is extremely tradable. Only $5M dead on the Raiders side. Inheriting team has $30M guaranteed in 2026, which is no problem. The rest of the contract is just $28M team options." Now I know it is a long shot BUT, if he were to request a trade, would he be worth pursuing?

Good eye. LB play has been subpar.

Scourton and Umanmielen? Oh, surely you're talking about MLBs. -
"Being stronger at the point of attack." I would bet that will be a point of emphasis over the summer.

BREAKING NEWS: Trevin Wallace out for the year
MHS831 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would not be surprised to see us add a free agent LB and then draft one. If we bring Rozeboom back, we would have solid depth. -
We definitely have a QB problem in the league. They're not being developed anymore. Brady and a few others have alluded to this. They come from all these 1-2 read offenses. Potentially receivers are the same coming up with 1/3 of a route tree. No idea when to sit in the zone. I think one thing that could help some is bringing the 2 ft in bounds rule to college.

Yup. We all seem to be on the same page there. I would add WR to the list, but your point is solid. -

MHS831 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am just starting to mock, so do not mock me. The LBs you mention here are OLBs, if I am not mistaken. Styles is a converted SS and Perkins is small. I am just starting to research the ILBs we might need, and one sleeper that I am watching is Jake Golday (Cincinnati). Anthony Hill in the second round is my safe pick. Sonny Styles is a beast of an athlete. I can see any team that passes on him regretting it. -
Are the Panthers a "Trap Game" for the Hawks?
MrBubba replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not a "trap" game but after the game against Rams, travel and Christmas week they could get distracted. But sure they are aware Panthers beating Rams is giving them the number one seed shot. -

MHS831 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I like some of the ILBs in this draft. I want a top 30 edge and 2 LBs. I think we will sign one in free agency. TBH, Rozeboom and Wallace should be depth.
