  1. Past hour
  2. Wriffs is hurt some too, he missed last game....but he's an animal and I expect him to be on the field for the remaining games.... Panthers have had more than normal injuries, especially at OL....... the stat is 10th different OL starters in 13 games....Goodwin and Gilbert deserves main props for keeping the standard high. I know in past years, nearly all Panthers OL were not able to have just one injury without the whole group floundering.
  3. oldhead toldozer and I don't have the same humor,
  4. That corner/DB blitz also stopped Rico as well, Panthers just "let" a unblocked DB and they tackled well enough. Chubba is better on inside runs, youve seen Rico bust those off-tackle runs for 16 per clip. I hate them, but their game plan just was near perfect given the talent. Panthers haven't practiced against constant CB biltzs since its rarely used. Many times it heavily favors the offense since most teams run 3 WRs. Also you need the QB to see it......AND punish the play. Plus if 4 CBs are on the field, check to a run.... The part that Im worried about is, that game also showed how bad the the Panthers WRs were against man zone, cause with one less CB, you are on an island with WRs&TEs. The young WRs and TEs were up against mostly name-less guys(kool-aid looking good tho and dat name, lols) and they didn't seem to get open enough OR fast enough for BY. I hope Hunter is active, OL is healthier, and so is Chubba....that should help plenty.
  5. I’m just waiting to see how long Baker holds on.
  6. It’s the Tepper’s being asked about their thoughts on the success this season and it leads to Tepper giving a response (what I interpret as a very awkward and nervous response while Nicole smiles uncomfortably) about how “we will see” how things go and he likes what Morgan, Canales, and Tilis are building. I also think I may be super bored because I used a bunch of built up PTO to take Thanksgiving- New Years off and it may be getting to me.
  7. Fully expected this to go Miami’s way. Silver hates us
  8. I like college football more than the NFL. The playoffs are awesome IMO even if they are flawed
  9. Yesterday
  10. Ready for the playoffs after not making them the last two years!
  11. I think he’s like the rest of us, doesn’t want to count his chickens too soon. Wait and see, no more senseless euphoria, cautious optimism, etc
  12. Not saying they’re playing poorly, just that nobody’s putting up video game like performances like before
  13. Sorry to hear bro. Tonight hopefully they win to make you feel better.
  14. Say what you want, those turnovers weren't flukes though. Great read by Jackson on the pick 6 and great individual plays by DB on the batted ball INT and strip sack. The Rams are good enough to consistently move that ball against the very best defenses, so of course they are going to be able to move the ball at will with over half of our defense being backups to the backups... And our offense played a great game. The Packers game was definitely a GB shooting themselves in the foot type of loss for them. I don't think the Rams game was the same - we executed well on offense and came up with the timely turnovers we needed on defense.
  15. I mean yeah that’s a fact. Truly awful starts all 3 seasons. But he’s really shown some good stuff since the first few weeks. He’s also shown some bad. One thing I’ve really liked is he’s majorly improved his deep accuracy lately. I’ve really enjoyed seeing the vertical downfield pass return. It would definitely be a miracle for him to string together 4 good games in a row. That would really surprise me.
  16. I've been sick and going through some family drama so I haven't been on much the last few weeks. Bleh
  17. We've been looking bad, so to the reverse the juju. Svechnikov! Edited to add. If this doesn't work I will go back to my first goal ban.
  18. What is it? My Twitter is acting up? Does it not embed anymore?
  19. I didn't pick up anything odd. If anything it's comforting that he's not pounding his chest acting like we've arrived because we finally have some meaningful games in December.
  20. Your missing the real stat. Shough is 6.5" - Bryce is 5'10". That's all you need to know.
  21. If the rookie season were predominantly an anomaly your point would have more weight. But Bryce Young has started the season three years in a row with let's just be honest here. Some of the worst QB play we have ever seen as a franchise. And that's saying something. I'm hoping for a miracle from him to finish the season though.
  22. Sounded pretty good, seems like he trying to let the football folks handle things.
  23. Also, I’m not saying this out of negativity but rather that I feel like he was uncomfortable talking about it. Idk, seems like his personality has changed a bit.
  24. Shough in his starts is more efficient and productive than the #1 overall pick in year 3. That should be a massive red flag for everyone. Bryce really needs Shough’s non-starts to lower him down him down I don’t think Shough is special. But it’s a good indicator of the lying we are doing to ourselves in Carolina
  25. Maybe it’s just me, but I picked up weird vibes from this. https://x.com/josephperson/status/1998519225632346593?s=46
