  1. Past hour
  2. Chig is the TE I want but I think in a noodle arm BY offense Goedert would be more effective
  3. still better than that mess of whatever baseball does
  4. Spotrac hasnt updated anything yet but doing the math in my head 27/28 is going to be tight. Not sure what they do if they are truly going to extend bryce.
  5. Here is my gut: They could draft, in round 2, Stowers from Vandy If not, watch Jolly from NC State.
  6. Njoku for comparison whom many are saying is injury prone has a higher durability rating FYI https://www.draftsharks.com/fantasy/injury-history/david-njoku/7770
  7. A bit long in the tooth (31) but he can play and there is not a huge market for him---I am guessing 5 million.
  8. I could argue (not knowing if I am right or not) that the fact that we have not used the TE much is based on talent, not strategy. We ran some multiple TE sets last year to improve the run game (which is why I am Skeptical that Tremble is cut) but we need a threat that can block
  9. Panthers have agreed to terms on a 1-year deal with OLB Trevis Gipson, per a league source. https://bsky.app/profile/mikekayefootball.bsky.social/post/3mgs6dalah22s
  10. What you on? College hoops starts in 40 minutes. I don't see anything I love but haven't looked all that hard.
  11. Yeah what X-Clown said. He's an athletic freak, who you just bank on never playing with a decent QB and system. Entering the age range we tend to like going after, *cheaper* than the other FAs possibly. I like Tremble more than most, but I think Chig is an upgrade to all 3 guys we currently have. In my perfect world, Tremble, Chig, and Evans are our 3 TEs, but, Tremble's cap number is blah.
  12. I think we will draft a C who will play a reserve roll for part of the year if not the entire season. I think Kalil did that. It has been long overdue. Our guards are in their primes and we have a need at LT and a 32-year old RT. If we draft 2 eventual starters at C and T, we can start replacing the Guards and RT in the next two drafts--Since I do not see the C being drafted before the third round, I think this was Morgan's best move, considering how limited he was (cap, talent), on a smaller scale. Lloyd is next. That was a surprisingly good deal, imo.
  13. So decent stopgap? I still want us to draft a center. It is long overdue.
  14. A little undersized and seems like what we hope JT to be. He's younger and has more tread on his tires than the Njokus and Goederts of the world.
  15. I don't know if better is the right word. He is different than what we currently have. He's more of the "move" tight end. They ran a lot of tight end screens and things with him. I don't really see him as a fit for what Canales likes his tight ends to do. But maybe I'm wrong.
  16. Problem is we really don’t use TEs and even if we did Bryce limits the opportunities our TEs have.
