It's almost like they have no fear or respect for Bryce's arm.

Atlanta. They are fiesty. Last game last year was just a practice run. This one should show their improvement and the Panthers stagnation.

Roger that. So 3rd quarter and on? No poster has framed it that way either. All I've heard was all of his yards were garbage time stats. Would it help if I showed the presnap defensive alignments starting in the 3rd quarter? Again, not trying to argue or show anyone up. Just trying to inform. For the record, this is the first offensive play in the 3rd quarter. Only 1 defender 10+ yards deep. 8 defenders are within 5 yards of the LOS. That is nobody's prevent formation, giving up everything underneath to TEs and RBs. I can do the entire drive if you want. Let me know. Here's 3rd down of that drive. Press with 7 on the LOS.

So many mistakes on draft day cause this stupid front office is hell bent on getting “their” guy team needs to find an identity first, we don’t do anything very well on offense, defense or special teams the fact that we didn’t bring in qb completion or a c when both positions most fans knew would fail at some point tells me all I need to know

In case you needed a reminder of the clown show we've turned into

Not Rhule but Wilks is what I remember. It was while they were roating Baker, Darnold and PJ. Yup https://www.panthers.com/news/baker-mayfield-playing-his-part-though-it-s-a-new-one -
And I mean, my God, man, how did you miss this thread? The vid is arguably even uglier. https://www.carolinahuddle.com/topic/478689-solid-breakdown-of-bryces-poor-performancepff-stuff/?do=findComment&comment=6932117

Yup. Lots of moves to make but half that trade list can just be moved to cut IMO. Easy and well deserved vs being hard to justify someone else spending for them. Should have said lots of contracts to dump vs few. My mistake, few worth keeping. I just don't see those as hard to dump or needing further justification. 2/3s of the roster would be bottom 1/3 being churned on other teams every season.

it really is. I have hope, but unsure how hopeful would translate to the actual final score

Since you act like you just don't have any idea what I'm talking about, and you missed the ugly video that was posted after the first game, I believe, here's another vid showing Bryce missing opportunities. You'll actually have to hit the link.

They do have a great chance to win again, I think their biggest risk is a locker room issue which a star WR not getting the ball is probably the biggest catalyst to that happening.
-
Recent History tells you it's gonna be offense again I think 4 out of the last 5 first round picks have been on offense and two in a row have been on WRs I think 95% of us expected us to go defense this year. I almost don't blame them considering what Legette is doing and Theilen wanting to leave. If we end up finishing 0-17 to 4-13, there's an extremely high likelihood of getting another QB in R1 , IMO. Because that means either Bryce got hurt or he performed like poo down the stretch.

Tbf we did want and did trade for both of them. But we absolutely blew it both times while they were if. 2 more in a plethora of bad panthers what ifs

They didn't need Hooker in the first place, but perhaps they had seen enough. Hooker was never highly regarded as a day one or day two pick either. He was a flyer. Green Bay did it right. They had an established QB whose expiration date was within their sight, and drafted a day one (some may have thought day 2) and let him sit for a few years before throwing him into the fire and effectively messing him up. We don't have an ideal situation, and will likely be long for one. If we had kept Darnold or Baker, we may be in that type of situation which would've afforded us the ability to draft a QB on day one or two and give them time to develop. Getting back to Hooker, the only thing that I said is that I'd rather see him. The season is largely fúcked anyways. I can't even say that it's right or fair to throw him out there, but I'm so tired of mentally dealing with the Bryce Young rollercoaster. I've seen enough. Never again will I be open to drafting a short guy at QB.

There were multiple passes that were either extremely low or near the ground or that actually hit the ground. It's why he finally got an intentional grounding call on that final drive when he actually had to try and win the game. Passes to the sideline were often erratic at best too. You just have your head buried in the sand.
-
I’m still waiting for someone to pull up the film and show me all of the passes he’s missing. Anyone? Shouldn’t be too hard right?
-
The Tepper's will be posted up in the draft room waxing poetic about their favorite prospects like always. Maybe we'll get lucky with a few picks but it's best to have no expectations.
