  1. Past hour
  2. Your last sentence…. if you watched that McAfee interview with Tepper - that seat is safe. Safer than with the fans.
  3. Yesterday
  4. So Willis had a good game against a poor defense and all of a sudden he is worth 50 million and is guaranteed to be better than Young. LOL I know he looked good in the 3 games he started, and I think he will have success long term, but anyone signing him up for a long term contract for 50 million is taking a huge risk.
  5. Is he really though? Rivera was past his prime and probably shouldn't have even started 2019 so his firing wasn't really unexpected or unwarranted. Rhule lasted two and a half years which was about one year too long in my opinion. Bringing him back that third year certainly wasn't impulsive and I would say Tepper was more patient than he should have been. Wilks finished out that third season and did pretty good but most everyone could see he really wasn't anything more than an intern HC. Bringing him back was not the long term answer so not bringing him back was the correct call. Hiring Reich was a mistake from the beginning and he recognized that fairly quickly. I am sure he knew he was going to catch a lot of sh*t for firing him so quickly ( and boy did he ) but it was absolutely the right thing to do given everything that was going on. The firing may have looked impulsive, but I think it was him recognizing he had royally f*ck up and just dealt with it instead of letting it fester. That brings us to Canales. 2025 was only his second season and yet he delivered 8 wins and the NFC South title. And while that might not sound great, given the lack of talent and cap space they started with, it's a strong step in the right direction. I couldn't imagine Tepper not being pleased with their progress given the crap the Panthers' have been though under his ownership.
  6. At the end of the day we're all holding our breath in anticipation waiting to see if Bryce Young will look and play horribly to begin his fourth season just as he has in his first three seasons. No cherry picking obscure metrics or screaming about haters will change that.
  7. Cam seems to be eager to put the onus moreso on himself and that speaks to his personal growth as a man. He even mentions that maybe he was too hyperfocused on wins and losses which is crazy to consider when you account for the fact that our culture was so pitiful when he arrived and 89 is supposed to be considered the ultimate competitor. While Steve leans on his unspecified trauma as his reasoning for how he was toward a rookie QB and other people in general which makes no sense whatsoever considering this is the guy who physically attacked his own teammates in his younger years. The only positive if you could consider it so that I'm getting from Steve Smith in this convo is the fact that he is actually willing to speak about it with Cam. But he does not seem to want to recognize what he threw away at that time and the cost to both himself and the franchise.
  8. Coker is 6'3" 210, 10 inch hands A little bigger than the average WR.
  9. He certainly seems to have a really good mindset for his age and the circumstances of his career trajectory early on. Here's to hoping he can carve out one of the better long term Panthers WR careers especially considering he was undrafted.
  10. I noticed that too.. I could imagine that there would be soma animosity when a guy gets drafted in the 1st round, gets given all the opportunities and yet you out play him at every opportunity. Hopefully this lights a fire in both guys.
  11. If that's how it went down then I've lost what relatively minimal semblance of respect I had for him as a highly notable player in franchise history. Because that whole situation is what led to him being so outrageously abrasive toward the team and specifically led to the "blood and guts" game in which he went out of his way above and beyond to portray himself as someone who was discarded like trash in the street in a callous manner by the team that drafted him while gleefully embarrassing us. When in reality it was he who wanted out from the jump in the midst of us drafting two of the greatest players in franchise history in consecutive years in Newton and Kuechly. We probably win the Super Bowl if he had kept his head together. I can't look at the guy the same anymore if this is true. Unconscionable selfishness. Stay a Raven.
  12. jesus christ let the man fugging cook. He's improved the win total both years he's been here. This article is retarded
  13. 2 mins n...Maybe its my optics but my PNP boy is either small as poo or Coker is big as fug Iol.
  14. This Saturday is no good. I have 80 hours left on my community service. Saturday I'll be on the side of the highway picking up trash. Like a boss.
  15. Doesn’t have to be a player they draft in 2027. Could be someone that gets put on the roster this year. Whether later round or a reclamation project, current backup. A 2027 FA even. I just mean, it wouldn’t have to be a three year proposition.
  16. Inherited a 2 win team missing draft capital from a dumb trade. Turned them into a 5 win team followed by an 8 win team and made the playoffs. I think Canales should be fine as we overachieved last year. If we have a bad year this year I think he goes into next season on the hot seat, but to me his 3rd year should be safe unless it just completely derails. It gets complicated we you look at replacing Bryce next year. Do you let a coach on the hot seat make that call? I also think you should let him have a chance with a QB he picks as well so yeah it's a little complicated...
  17. I didn't even notice that LOL
  18. Yeah I know there was some discussion on his contract around here but it sounds to me like that IS NOT a worry right now. Great guy. If he can stay healthy, he and TMac will be monsters out there next year.
  19. The one thing I did pick up on was Smitty wanted out the day Cam was drafted. He requested a trade. Sound like 3 years later, the situation was the same. So at the end of the day, while everyone thinks Gman did him wrong, and the way he was released may have been, he may have also been doing exactly what Smitty asking for.
  20. And then what? 3 more years to develop said qb ?
  21. He should be, at minimum his OC seat. His offense and situational awareness are some of the worst I've ever seen from any coach and that includes Matt Rhule. He's slow to react, he's not creative at all, and defenses can feast on his predictability. I think the HC seat is warm but will get hot really quickly if this team doesn't step it up, and by a lot. We need more Dallas, Miami and Atlanta offense instead of Seattle, SF and Tampa (2). Hell we even barely squeaked by the Jets. He's got to be better or he's going to be gone.
  22. I am not thinking he has that in the best order. O’Connell should be in front of Canales, I think for sure. Maybe Lafleur, Packers underperformed a bit. Maybe Quinn. Redskins had a rough year. Schottenheimer? Don’t see it absent some sort of collapse. Not sure there is a need to put ten names down, really. Re Canales, if it goes bad early, it is likely Bryce doing his annual ritual. Which is one of the big subplots we will be looking at next year.
  23. This guy is a baller! You can tell by how he dissects plays. Already really liked him, but now I'm loving him! Smart, humble, all around good guy...reminds me of me, LOL. take aways: Give Bryce a ton of credit. Like a lot. When asked about his contract. "I'm not going anywhere. I want to play for this team for as long as I can." YIPPEE! Gave love to TMac, Horn, Tremayne, even Hunter and Theilen. ONE NAME CONVEINENTLY LEFT OFF THE LIST.
  24. Yeah bad angle for her. I just watched something on this and I didn’t know so maybe someone else didn’t know either… NFL policy these days on this is they don’t hand out any discipline until the legal process is complete. The option mentioned was ‘paid leave’ in the interim. Falcons are likely going to have to pay him but not have him, and he will probably be able to afford his attorneys.
