  1. Past hour
  2. I would not like this move at all. I feel Brown is severely underrated here. He still shows up and gets the job done. Bringing on double and even triple teams. Our defense was deplorable last year. Brown missing was a large part of that. I don't like Parsons fit as far as attitude or compensation. Brown has been a favorite player of mine in his time here and has given me no reason to think otherwise.
  3. Holy poo, I thought $30M was still top of the line for rushers lol
  4. Called the "high-five" placement if I'm remembering correctly
  5. I mean, you have to expound. You don't think that Micah is better than Brown, and it's not worth throwing in an extra third? @Basbear any thoughts?
  6. Discuss. Carolina Panthers Dallas- Micah Parsons Panthers- Derrick Brown, 2026 Third Round Pick Carolina is in desperate need of pass rush juice, and while parting with Derrick Brown may seem costly, the trade would be well worth it. For Dallas, the deal makes a lot of sense, as they’ve struggled for years to find a true run stuffer, and Brown would immediately fill that void. On the Panthers' side, the move signals a clear commitment to prioritizing quarterback pressure. In addition, it is typically easier to find an elite run defender than it is to find an elite pass rusher. https://nflspinzone.com/5-logical-destinations-for-micah-parsons-after-massive-trade-request
  7. When a player of this caliber comes available, they are rarely ever worth the price it takes to acquire them. He’s an incredible player, but I hope we tread lightly.
  8. Absolutely no interest at the compensation and salary he would require.
  9. Today
  10. as a QB, you're supposed to throw the ball high in the back of end zone so either the receiver comes down with it or its an incompletion out of bounds
  11. I'm a firm hell no on trading any future 1sts until we're absolutely certain Bryce is the long-term answer. I don't see how anyone could be certain of that as of now.
  12. If that is what it takes, I’d be all for it. Didn’t Tepper say something about having bryce in a rookie contract allows the team to load up elsewhere? Or was that fan speculation? Well, either way, time to prove it lol
  13. Garbers was cut day two of TC, or was it day one??.... He didn't stay long enough to digest the beacons greatness..... They seem perfectly fine with with 3, all of reports praising Dalton. Just like plummer improved so has Dalton and of course BY too.
  14. Well, I think this will be the start of me dropping NFL. But I allow to see how it goes, just feels like the end of me investing time following my favorite team.
  15. This, and the Cowboys lose additional leverage because he’s in the final year of his deal. If he truly wanted to, he could sit out the season and Dallas would get zero compensation for him. Truly think a 1st next year and a mid round pick could get it done.
  16. Hes wants the highest paid non-QB deal. Like Horn he's got some injury questions, its awful hard to pay someone in street cloths. I do not see any way Dallas trades him. Lastly, everyone in near talking about two 1st is enough??? I think it was be MUCH more, like another 1st, 2nd and mids and maybe even some players. He's young and a force when healthy. I hope he doesn't end up in the NFC south and I see no chance Panthers even call.
  17. I edited the post to add more info about the most recent history of the two firsts trade package. https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2023/3/6/23627251/3-recent-nfl-trades-including-two-first-round-draft-picks-khalil-mack-trade-tunsil-trade-watson Honestly with how teams are gearing so heavily with analytics I have a hard time believing a team will actually cave to those demands this go around.
  18. Schefter was thinking it could go like the bears Khalil Mack trade. I don’t remember the exact details of that trade but it was a hefty haul.
  19. I don't think the two firsts is going to go down. We've seen teams posture with that demand but when is the last time it actually happened? Watson Tunsil Mack In that order. The Watson package alone is enough to put an end to these wild trades. But the other two certainly don't help either.
  20. Two 1st rounders minimum, and $40 mil per year minimum. That's a steeeeeep price....but damn I'd be excited.
  21. It's practice but we definitely need to see Bryce work on underthrowing those back of the end zone passes. These are issues opposing defenses already know about it's on film.
  22. The first sentence of that second tweet.....
