That is the brutal truth. (Limping or backing into the playoffs and giving false hope) I wanted him to remove all doubt the last 9 games (after the injury blip), either way. Good or bad. He hasn’t. Either way really. But I haven’t seen enough to justify that 5th year. Granted I was going to be a tough judge to win over. The playoffs thing… It t is like rooting for higher taxes next year and the year after if you get a nice stimulus check right now. I mean, you think you are rooting for something good, but in reality you’re not.

I smell Tillis’ influence here, in the Wharton signing. KC. Probably vouched for his locker room vibe and motor.

It's hard not to when we've been irrelevant for the better part of a decade. I would too if I had any confidence in that not giving the organization the excuse to continue to delude themselves. I certainly won't be mad if we win the division but it'll make me nervous about what dumbass decisions that could lead to.

That is a shite reality to face, but I do agree. I still want us to win though lol.

Losing the last three with Bryce faceplanting down the stretch is honestly the best thing for the organization long-term. Sad to say, but that's the truth. Backing into the playoffs by winning a bad division with the Bucs in freefall might be the worst outcome long-term. Anything that allows the organization to cling to this farce of Bryce being the answer at QB is a terrible thing for the long-term of this franchise.

They inject players with so much o doubt Baker felt anything, again if your gonna use Baker hurting his shoulder 4 weeks ago vs his poor performance vs NO then I’m gonna use Bryce still wrapped ankle for any future misgivings.

I was thinking earlier, if they end up having another one of those meaningless final games I won't be watching. Not that my announcement deserves a cookie or anything

Good try.

Aiken, SC!

It was like we were running in quicksand the whole game and the broadcast reflected that. Same vibe. But they are a good crew. Luke is excellent.

The only offense fit for Bryce is his college one. And we know, or should know, that will not work in the NFL.

If you can only fire ONE person before 2026....

I am not in the mood to argue for Canales but give him a QB that can run an NFL offense. If we replace him, we likey get a newer version of him that promises to fix Bryce and has to learn the job. And will be making the same mistakes Canales made or different ones. And we will all have to watch while he does it and we have that now. And on top of that we get a bunch of new position coaches and lose any continuity we have established. They’ll be learning different techniques and language and all that stuff. Someone we like won’t fit the new system, back to square one, all that stuff. Bryce is the fundamental mistake, we won’t be fixed until that mistake is fixed. It has to be him. So please just give me a trad NFL offense to watch. A full route tree and some play action done right. -
The coach leech method

I need a reason for optimism but nothing on that list does it for me. Think bigger. Think correcting mistakes. Think, that will never happen. And it won’t.
-
Wouldn't get to that it would be head to head for all three teams first. We'd be 3-1 Bucs would be 2-2 Falcons would be 1-3

lol Rodgers

Canales is at his best coaching when he has a full week to prepare and dig into why he lost the game. That's when he really excels, in hindsight. For sure he doesn't when it comes to pre-game planning/preparation and in game management. He's REAL bad at that. But, man, he really is great at seeing his constant mistakes after he has made them.

I just don't think there's any great teams this year. Seems like every team that makes the field this year has a shot outside of the NFC South and AFC North champs. Those are just weak ass divisions.
