  1. Past hour
  2. bruh did you even read what i posted? he's playing politics and getting the name out there and trying to clean poo up and make this place attractive. texas tech lb already said he wants to play here.
  3. I would add that if we do nothing more in free agency than land a stud Edge and ILB, Both were top 15 free agents on many lists, we done good. We should re-sign some roster players, like Isaiah Simmons, Curhan, Nijman, and hopefully Rozeboom
  4. Is Niman still on the roster? Did Icky retire? Niman filled in fine last year. The drop off from Mays to Corbett cost us games. Tackle is not a priority as long as we still have Niman. Center absolutely is.
  5. oh, and will campbell sucks btw. the offensive line talent will continue to drop that coming up from college. There's no physicality left at that level.
  6. Isaiah Simmons CARSafety#27 Panthers re-signed LB/S Isaiah Simmons. Simmons is a versatile playmaker who appeared in just five games for the Panthers last season. Simmons was signed to the Panthers’ practice squad late last season and totaled just five tackles in limited action. The former first-round pick is likely returning on a one-year deal and will need to battle for a roster spot in camp.
  7. you aren't getting a starting lt at 19. we aren't trading up. yall were so sure christensen was a starting lt for years. i said no way in hell and here we are.
  8. They just cut A'Shawn freeing up $10.5 million in cap space with $2.1 mil dead cap. Good player but ultimately an easy decision. Jonathan Jones said he will have a market and teams have been calling his agent
  9. He will stick around for his special teams play alone.
  10. He was a beast at the end of the year,on ST.
  11. A remaining free agent who I think would make a lot of sense for the #Panthers on a 1-year deal is CB Roger McCreary. @CameronWolfe mentioned Carolina looking for a slot defender. Chau Smith-Wade played post safety in some big nickel packages, he might make sense there long-term. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/2031418790995439791?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
  12. Don't hate it. Thought he did well on special teams also and can be an emergency sub LB if need be
  13. This is why making the playoffs was important. Whether we "deserved" it or not - perception matters, and it likely gave us somewhat of an edge in negotiations.

  15. The #Panthers are bringing back versatile LB Isaiah Simmons, per me and @TomPelissero, as the former #Clemson star sticks in Carolina.
  16. We have resigned Isiah Simmons I think this is a good move https://x.com/i/status/2031440130729202018
  17. I think Brown and (get this) Ickey might be extended. Horn too?? Extending Ickey gives him guaranteed extra money but it is aligned with the risk and position he will play if he returns. For example, (making up the formula) You take the $18m he is costing us for not playing in 2026. Big men with that injury are given a 50% chance of returning to 90% of their full / current productivity. The Panthers could then divide the guaranteed amount by 4 years (for example) and it would be $4.5m per. Since he is going to be moved to G or RT, the average salary for a veteran with his credentials is $15m (for example) per year. SInce he has a 50% chance, make that $7.5m. Multiply that by .9. Roughly dropping it to $6.5. Now you have Ickey's salary down to $11m per year for the next four years. Guarantee two years of it--$22m. That is $4m more than he will make if he is done. Add incentives. At the end of the day, You could save an easy $12m off the 2026 cap (guesstimate) and you would have a decent G / RT that is pretty cheap for 4 years. If he does not work out, cut him after year 2. So that is my maff. While it sounds Batshirt crazy to extend Ickey, it could be very smart. If I had a career-threatening injury but could add a minimum of $4m for extending my guaranteed $, I would do it. I think Tremble gets restructured. His blocking was too good down the stretch.

  19. WTF? We are just going to ignore LT or does OP think we have room to snag one in free agency? I think we end up ranking Proctor, Lomu, and Freeling and take the highest one available at 19. I think Fano is purely a RT because of his arm length. I would take Freeling right now at 19 as i have mentioned before.
  20. Just typing the word Pickett made me slightly restarted.
  21. It’s a strong looking defense all of a sudden. A highly competent vet at every level: D Brown, Philips, Lloyd, Horn and Moehrig That’s 5 guys who were arguably (at least) top-12 at their position last season. And not excluding that we have some decent vets here too like BBIII and MJ If we can get even just 1 or 2 of the young guys to develop into a dude, it could be a nice unit. Looking at Ransom, Scourton, Princely, S-W. It would be nice to target a Slot Defender in the draft.
  22. Yes! Nice. The Pickett. Wow. Sorry Bryce. U b watch the SB on tha sidewalk.
  23. Derrick Brown and signing Jaelan Phillips like 2 hours earlier. Lloyd probably saw us making moves.
