  1. Past hour
  2. kaye has always been way more critical of the panthers then the past observer writers. I love his style
  3. So much for that - Minnesota gave him the brinks truck to stay there
  4. why is anyone holding on to this "change of scenery" bullshith with bryce just say he can't play no one was saying The Golden Calf of Bristol needed a change of scenery; he just got invited to Patriots camp as a fug you to reporters then faded away.
  5. We have a real shot at the 3rd pick as it stands right now. But realistically we will be picking 8 or 9 as we usually do.
  6. If I were a betting man, I would go all in on this prediction.
  7. if a charlotte observer writer is now criticizing bryce and canales, as tepid as the criticism is, that's an ominous sign.
  8. We literally went to a Super Bowl with an NFL Europe backup QB. LOL We need to look everywhere for upgrades. Free agency, draft, potential low value trades. Looking for THE savior led to this Bryce Young debacle.
  9. This is it in a nutshell. The only thing they do know is there's no way they should pick up his 5th year option. That is an absolute proven fact. They shouldn't even debate it. Its completely off the table. They better be scouting every qb option available in the coming offseason.
  10. Good video. Brought up some good points - most of which has been talked about ad nauseum around here already. I am with him when he talks about how he's surprised the progress the offense showed in the second half of last year is completely gone so far this year. I had high hopes for them based off of those last 10 games as well but so far, it's not there. Don't know why but it isn't.
  11. We are going to have a hard time outsucking the Titans and Saints. The good news is that I think we will get a top 5 pick
  12. Actually Jaaska is on a two-way this year, his one way doesn’t start until next year so he can be sent down.
  13. Two WRs and a QB among the highest paid. Like unless you're legit drafting OL every pick (they took one in the third and one in the fifth lol) you're going to struggle to put together any semblance of a good OL...
  14. It's not the kickers fault it's all the pieces around him gotta give him 4 years to find out if he's good or not
  15. Yeah, they're shortening his career letting him take these beatings. And I put some of the blame on him too. He lobbied HARD for them to re-sign Higgins. I mean, I get it. You have chemistry with the guy, etc. But that's where as a GM you just gotta sit him down and be like "Listen man, we want you to play another decade plus and that's not gonna happen if we don't protect you and I'm gonna struggle to protect you if we have two of the highest paid WRs in the league tying up our cap space. We can't afford to keep him and protect you and I have to value protecting you. We can get similar production out of a lesser player with Chase on the other side drawing the coverage."
  16. How many 60+ yards kicks have there been this season so far? Its not the norm. The distance has increased to 50+ sure. That is becoming the norm to attempt. But complaining about 1 missed 55 yard kick when he has kicked a 57 yarder with room to spare is being overdramatic.
  17. The Bengals got lost in the sauce after taking Chase over OT in the draft ended up paying off.
  18. It was a terrible choice... They relied on Burrows miraculous ability to be sacked repeatedly every game and still throw for 300 yards, it felt like. Which is INSANE. It's like the Panthers refusing to really try to get Cam receiving help until it was too late.
  19. He should have just came and said what a lot of us on here have already said, your right, they are terrified of throwing the ball down field, why is that? Just say it! I have never seen an NFL player, let alone an NFL QB coddled so much, it’s sickening. But at least he did have the balls to say Bryce can’t elevate a team. I honestly believe the approach being half baked and contradictory is because they can’t figure out exactly what they have in the QB position, Frank couldn’t figure out what to do with him either. At some point the excuses has to stop for this guy chalk it up as an expensive loss and move on!
  20. I mean TMac is looking like a very solid pick. In fact basically this whole draft is. Honestly drafting QBs is a roll of the dice and BY was going either first or second no matter what (QB hungry) team was drafting there. While I still think Stroud was a better pick, BY is a case of fooling the majority of the league, not just our FO. Xavier Legette is IMO far more damning.
  21. I thought paying Tee Higgins was a huge mistake. Not that he isn't a very good WR, but just that they already have huge money tied up in Chase and they desperately need help on the OL. Having the best WR tandem in the NFL doesn't do you much good if the QB is having to run for his life immediately after taking the snap on most plays. I know tag and trades get talked about by fans far more than they actually happen, but that really seemed like an ideal tag and trade situation. You don't want to let that guy walk for a 3rd round comp pick but you can't afford to pay him either with the other glaring roster needs.
  22. No it doesn't matter. But it something new to talk about at least.
  23. Their D occasionally has a play or two but that OL is atrocious. When people talk about how we don't protect our QB and I turn on the Cincy game while responding to the Huddle... Eesh.
