He would need a lot of development and at this point I’m not sure if Canales is really that “QB whisperer” everyone said he was.

I think the cards could win by a heartbreaker FG or something or they could win by double digits, so I'm not messing with that. I know two things though, they will win and the Panthers will not score 3 TD's. -
They don't Sunday Ticket is for out of market games, it's pretty simple. You get access to every game that you can't watch locally on Fox or CBS. If it's on one of those two where you live, you won't get it, if it's not, you do.

If X can't step up, then JT needs to (if Canales allows)
tukafan21 replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
I haven't given up on him yet either, but one play from Week 1 has me now severely questioning what his ceiling might be. Not getting his feet in bounds on a pretty standard play was really damning, it wasn't even a toe tap type of catch right on the sideline, he was catching it in stride, there is absolutely zero reason any NFL player, even one just on a practice squad, isn't aware enough to drag that 2nd foot in that situation. That one play alone has me seriously concerned, more than any of his drops issues last year, because those things can be worked on and improved. If you're not getting the basic mental stuff like that down when you played 5 years in college (yea, I know 1 foot vs 2, meh) and in your 2nd year in the NFL, then I'm not sure you have what it takes between the ears to ever be a high level player. At worst, that one play made me already put Coker as the clear #2 the second he steps back onto the field for us, it soured me on XL that much. -

you think the cards -6.5 is too high or too low? -
I would be interested in knowing why YT is blocking games that you’re paying to see.

alright guys, here we go week 2! the moneyline odds for Cardinals is ridiculous and I'm not touching the spread but I did find value in the Panthers team total. I got it at under 20.5 points at -165 odds. $10,000 down again. the line has since shifted to under 18.5 points which to me is still a STEAL. and the odds improved. You really think Bryce is going to put up three touchdowns on the Cardinals? Hahaha!! See you at the pay window! -
Could probably get Jameis for pennies
LinvilleGorge replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
We aren't winning anything with this defense with Jameis throwing for 300 yards with 2 TDs and 3 INTs but it would at least give us a better ability to evaluate our other offensive positions. -
If a Sunday game is blocked for you, it means it's on Fox or CBS on TV for you where you live

He may be worse but he's more fun to watch. Watching Bryce is just fuging miserable looking like he doesn't belong on an NFL field and marinating in all we had to give up to get him. -

Jameis would win enough that our pick would be no better than 7th. We would get a few games of good Jameis… and be screwed again. -
I'm sick of people comparing players to Cam, at the the height of his college career and NFL career he was the greatest to ever do it.
-
Oddly I do have access to our game, maybe because it's being played in Arizona.
-
It's not just the placement, it's the timing. He's late on the throw and it's misplaced. Double whammy going down the seam.
-
Think I will be watching Lions vs Bears before our game, and some redzone on another window.

My dumb ass paid for nfl Sunday ticket on YouTube just to have games blocked consistently. Why is the eagles and cheifs blocked too?
-
Nobody spiked anything lol.....just showing how absurd wanting Walker is Advocating for a player clearly even worse is an interesting take.

LinvilleGorge replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's just how ready a lot of us are to see SOMETHING different. But yeah, let's spike the football over Bryce being statistically better than a UDFA borderline roster caliber talent. LOL -
I’m all for Jameis. He’s matured a lot, still really goofy, but a strong vocal leader. He will no doubt create a ton of turnovers, but he’ll also give the offense a chance to develop our young talent. And we would have a chance in every game to score a lot.

Yeah, he's currently on the roster. We traded a bunch of premium picks and a starting WR to draft him. -
Look, I've still not completely given up on X (even if I did X him from my fantasy team), but he's not trending in the right direction...pretty much at all. That being said, I am loathe to overreact after one game. But, that being said, Ja'Tavion Sanders needs to step up. The thing is, will Dave Canales put JT into a position to actually step up and maximize Sanders' talent? I am skeptical sbout DC's willingness to even use a TE in the flow of the game, much less dial up a TE's number when it's absolutely warranted. I'm tired of DC treating the TE as an afterthought. Of course all of this may be moot due to QB play, but I think that JT has it in him to really help open up the offense for everyone, including X, if Canales would call up some plays for him. Basically, the X-factor on offense may not be an X at all, but a JT.

The PJ Walker talk is funny. Hes worse than Young in every statistical way. Its not even that close
-
It's sadly still an overall improvement. PJ walker would be an improvement which is kind of the point of how bad it currently and had been.

Bryce Young is a problem — what would you do if you were Dan Morgan?
MHS831 replied to OldhamA's topic in Carolina Panthers
that is why I wanted Morgan to get Max Brosmer from Minnesota in the AT trade. He reads lightning quick--his measurables are solid--but better than young. great footwork. He simply needs time. He is accurate--at WORST he'd be a solid backup for another decade, but I see him starting somewhere one day soon. - Today
