  1. Past hour
  2. The final 6 games this season should determine his future with the team. If he plays like he played against the Falcons against any of the playoff contending teams on the schedule, that's a positive sign. If he's posting sub 200 yard mutliple turnover games, especially if it's in all of the games, we have a problem
  3. kyle allen and matt moore both played better for the panthers than byoung has but I agree with the postet the panthers with tepper probably lock young up for 3 more years top ten qb money
  4. I dont think we can say that after 1 game. He needs to have atleast 3 games with 200+ yds and 2 tds for me to say he is getting there. He does seem to turn it up later in the season which is good for him but we need more out of him for me to say he is the future
  5. I hope not. I'll probably get around to watching the game tomorrow night but based on this highlight reel I didn't learn anything new. Notice on almost every throw in this highlight there's a clean field in front of him with plenty of room to step up and nothing obscuring his vision. We already knew Bryce can play well in those scenarios. I've said over and over that given great protection, a throwing lane, and room to step up and through his throwing motion Bryce can make most of the throws. The issues arise when he starts getting pressure in his face. Bryce had a great game and deserves credit for that but in terms of evaluating the position moving forward we need to see that type of play down the stretch in scenarios that don't play to his strengths. Seems like yesterday's game played out in a way that largely allowed him to play to his strengths and the NFL is really good at putting you in situations where you're uncomfortable. https://x.com/JoshNorris/status/1990428657521774755?s=20
  6. Wait was it the Falcons? I was distracted, could have sworn the panthers ran the clock out.
  7. I give him credit for having a great game Sunday but whether Bryce Youngs single game means he has "Turned The Corner" and will be consistent going forward is a matter of opinion, but it is certainly a promising sign.
  8. Falcons gonna Falcon. I thought signing Cousins was a bonehead move in the beginning. Drafting Penix was not a bad decision but wtf are you doing signing Cousins on top of it to that massive contract hahahah
  9. End of the third he threw one to his right that the db got a late jump on but would have housed. He stares the receiver down the whole way. I don’t know if you could see it on tv but Bruce immediately started sprinting to the receiver after the throw because he knew it as either picked or the guy was getting lit up. fortunately the falcons
  10. I don't honestly think this game showed us anything new. The next 6 games will show us everything we need to know because 5 of the games are against playoff contending teams. I'm happy Bryce had a career game. He's been so bad in so many games that maybe this boosts his confidence and he can start delivering consistent performances like this. But the fact is, the Falcons are not a good team. They are poorly coached, they make a lot of mistakes, and they still should have won the game. And the Falcons probably would have still won if Penix didn't get hurt. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what happened in the game as long as you win, but zooming out on the game, there's still a lot to be concerned about as the games get much harder.
  11. Less than 24 hours after the game they’ve managed to watch every play and player and assigned grades with such specificity they need decimal points. like guys come the fug on
  12. This game really cemented to me that he can’t get the ball to the sideline which is supposed to be the throw that distinguishes the nfl players from college.
  13. They really fuged up by not trying to score at the end of the half which team are we talking about
  14. That was for pierce this year, and they did fleece them. Penix was panic drafted in 2024 after they signed Kirk to a contract without doing a physical lmao
  15. The choice to kneel instead of trying to get into FG range at the end of the half was very telling.
  16. The press will take their marching orders from tepper like they have during his entire time owning the team.
  17. He slammed his helmet down when he got hit. He knew right away.
  18. No I agree but the fallout from the media would be crazy. I think if he wins the division you will see all sorts of media folks try and guilt trip the team to extend him. Ive been on Teams all morning and havent had a chance to get my daily comedy in from mac and bone yet but I can only imagine the dick sucking they have done today
  19. Penix likely out for the rest of the season. https://www.si.com/nfl/michael-penix-jr-knee-injury-update-falcons
  20. I barely saw Umanmielen out there - and I don't think I ever saw Njongmeta. How many snaps are they being judged off of?
  21. Icky is going to get paid. What that number is I havent a clue but its going to be massive. I didnt think Moton had that good of a game but they grade him high
  22. You really don’t. Good teams don’t tie themselves to players for wining an arbitrary number of games. the ravens cut their qb in 2000 after winning the Super Bowl. The Bucs did the same thing after losing the nfc championship. Packers shipped Rodgers ass out of town the first chance they got. Winston threw 30 TDs and like 7k yards and he was replaced. Seahawks let geno walk and replaced him and one of the best offenses in the league (nervous laughter). Rams went to the Super Bowl with Goff and shipped him out good team are constantly trying to improve. The number of wins this panthers team ends with is irrelevant. The most obvious example of a team bailing on a qb(s) for what they thought was an improvement is of course Bryce
