  1. Past hour
  2. I don't put anything past Dipper to save his fatazz jawls.... hes just a money man. Its evident by the suckage hes put on the field for last 8 yrs...
  3. The majority of people here seem to agree this is a layered issue on both sides of the ball and coaching is not getting it done on top. But we cannot dismiss the levels of issues that stem from our starting QB with his lack of physical traits and the domino effect it creates for the offense as a whole. Like for example the video mentions we need more plays from the shotgun and more play action as if that's not something the defenses are going to expect. Newsflash Bryce Young played overwhelmingly from shotgun in college and has never been comfortable from under center for a number of a reasons the most obvious being his height and the issues that creates and needing to take longer dropbacks to actually see the field. We ran a ton of plays from shotgun early in his rookie season it didn't make a difference. In October of Bryce Young's third season there are 30+ games worth of tape for defenses to look at and this is how it is going to be for him regardless of scheme or playcalling. Defensive coordinators are daring him to throw downfield and in the rare event he does the passes are consistently poor and off the mark.
  4. The fact that this is what the offense looks like 20+ games into Canales' tenure is a huge indictment. I don't believe Bryce is the guy and hope we move on after this season, but I don't think the roster building or the offensive playcalling/scheme has done him any favors either. It's literally a failure on every level, from personnel to scheme IMO.
  5. Jeez....gone down this road again. Dipper coulda hired Harbaugh who is a prick but knows football and is successful. But his micro penis couldn't handle the truth about the true state of football in his organization.
  6. wait i thought this was only bryces fault? you mean the ol and offense as a whole is bad?
  7. The NFL has a QB problem because of college ball. They aren’t producing pro style prospects. Same for OL especially try to find a LOT. OT used to be pretty reliable in the draft but now you have as many busts as you have at QB it feels like.
  8. The current OL issues were always my concern when we made the panic FA signings that catapulted our salary cap allocation to the unit to the top of the league. For a brief time we did our victory lap but as we have learned as Panthers fans it takes more time to form a full picture. We are really not that much better off and we should have invested in the unit via the draft. There are many things wrong with this franchise currently. The defense is something we've discussed extensively. Evero is not the guy he was sold to be and we hilariously forced him to stay which has blown up in our faces. But for all the talk of how historically bad the defense was last year the reality of the matter is salary cap wise we are amongst the bottom of the league investment wise on that side of the ball for the year so everything flips back to the offense and rightfully so. Really the only thing going for us against the Dolphins is that it's a home game. But my expectations for the offense are more of the same. Even if we score on the first drive it just feels like a matter of time. When we played the Dolphins in 2023 we actually hopped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter then they took us out to the woodshed for the second half. We'll see how ugly it gets this go around.
  9. Today
  10. Even with Hill gone...they still play with a lot of speed and up tempo.... too much for Everos monkeyazz defense. I really look for them to smoke us.... bad.
  11. The passing game simply stinks Pass blocking is not good. We have a solid unit but we're not the best if you're just looking at the pass game. They noted our RG depth (although we've been weird without bringing in BC) Receiver blows. Need to spread out and be in gun to help Bryce, but McMillan has been the only guy worth anything Unexplosive, juiceless, although they concur McMillan is an absolute stud/he's a hit. 3 throws on the entire season less than 15 air yards that is credited "explosive" - no YAC. No quickness or speed. Bryce Young is averaging 4.0 air yards per attempt off play action. FOUR! No play action game at all - doesn't see well (Dead last in the NFL) The team doesn't dictate to opposing defenses- I.E. you seek out matchups to take advantage of. Understand how to move your guys, manufacture opportunities. We don't play chess. We go out, and run a play. No nuance to our offensive scheme. Icky has been dissapointing this year. He'll always be solid in the run game, but a top-10 LT? Nope. "When losing David Moore in 2025 is a big deal..." lol If we can't get it going versus the Dolphins defense this week, then we're in for a serious problem. What I think you can take out of this likely redundant video for many here - This week is a huge benchmark. If this offense is still sh*t, then it's time for DT to consider a big move sooner rather than later. If this game is an indictment on the offense more than the defense, do you have enough reason to fire Evero as a transitional move? Canales' isn't firing Idzik. Does Bryce get benched if its on the offense? What's the move if the offense sucks?
  12. 1 hr 03 min mark if my trick thingy didn't work will follow up with notes.
  13. When you're that far down in the league you're basically debating which turd has the most flies on it.
  14. The other thing about Canales is he wasn’t a qualified hire when we hired him. No other team in the league even interviewed him. Just two years prior he’d been demoted in Seattle. I find the mitigating circumstances unconvincing when his performance has been exactly what you’d expect from an unqualified head coach way in over his head. At the least you can’t say he’s shown the ability to overcome anything.
  15. You are forgetting we are at home, where we play much better, and the Dolphins are on the road, where they play much worse. I think we win, and this starts the McDaniel will be fired talk. Still think we only win 4 games, but Miami at home is probably the easiest we'll have all season Is Coker coming back? I thought he was eligible this week
  16. Tua is better than Young by a fairly large margin. Winning record every season as a starter. Lead the NFL in some fashion every year for the last 3 seasons (comp %, yards, TD %). Winning record without Tyreek in his career. Winning record without Tyreek in the McDaniel era as well. and that's not Tua praise.
  17. I agree, just feel Phins are playing worse and less prepared than the Panthers(that's saying something). I mean Titans are 32, Panthers could be 31 after this weekend....
  18. You are right its close. They are just playing poorer than the Panthers, I think even without Hill they have more talent. Just happens they are checked out more than the Panthers.
  19. I got us at 31. Dolphins O is better. Think in terms of looking at the stats, we are so early into a season 1 game for each team is doing a lot of work to inflate our O and deflate theirs. The Cards garbage time really distorts how horrific we are. And the Phins week 1 really brings them down.
  20. If Canales is fired after this season, we need to go ahead and take off any names that will have options or the ability to wqait another year or two like Ben Johnson did. So for me, the realistic top options for Carolina from that list would be: Mike McCarthy (3rd HC stint, will not be picky) Bill Belichick (NFL teams will not be knocking on his door, will not be picky) Brian Flores (tense first stint, pending lawsuit will scare teams away) Robert Salah (2nd HC stint, will probably not be picky) Mike Kafka (starpower has cooled, will need to accept a offer before it totally goes away) Arthur Smith (2nd stint, UNC may also be interested if Belichick is one and done, but he would likely prefer to stay in NFL) Jim Schwartz (2nd stint, hasn't really done interviews) Jeff Hafley (Has HC experience in college, I don't think teams will be knocking down his door, he will probably accept an offer)
  21. The NFL does have a QB problem. I swear take the John Fox pill or a form of it. Just build one hell of a defense and rushing attack. Then you can insert dam near any "decent" QB and fight for 7-10 wins. Too many team have drafted QBs with the idea they can walk on water, fix the whole team and a QB will find you. There's only 4 QB able to carry lesser teams- Burrow, Allen, Jackson, and Mahomes(Reid carry?). Then its bunch of Geno, Goff, types until the 16s. Then you have the BY and lawrence group, sadness and years of may 6 win and ultra teases.
  22. If the Dolphins offense clicks, then they are better than us. Tua isn’t elite, but he’s better than Young. Hill is a loss for them, but they have other options to pass to. So I’d give them an offensive edge. On defense it’s a toss up or edge to us.
  23. A number of teams around the league see attendances fluctuate during lean years, especially the newer teams and less storied franchises. Our team still ranks in the top dozen in terms of attendance despite being bad. If they put a winning product on the field there’ll be no questions about attendance. As for a move to Europe, I can’t see it. If the Jaguars haven’t done it, then I don’t see anyone else going for it. I suspect the best thing for the NFL is to continue with different markets for the international series. Perhaps have a game in a different major international market every week and less in London?
