  2. Even if he's cut, he's not someone we should be targeting. T-Mac is already better than him, and while sure, he might be a slight upgrade at this moment over Coker as a #2, I'm really not sure he would be by the end of the season if Coker improves this offseason like we hope. We need a Tyreek Hill type who isn't Tyreek Hill, not a lesser version of T-Mac. Honestly, outside chance the answer is on the roster and it ends up being Horn Jr, I still don't know why he wasn't getting more snaps this year, he seems like he's oozing potential in the exact role we're needing to complement T-Mac and Coker.
  3. I am in agreement. A guy with that profile, a talented short timer, isn’t a bad idea. We got a lot of mileage from our draft last year but you can’t get instant adult level production from these young guys. Reliably anyway. This guy could help us take up the slack.
  4. Honestly, for a lot of them, it's probably just as simple as little man syndrome. Take it from someone who was always the shortest kid on every team growing up (I was still 4'10" as a Freshman in HS), it puts a chip on your shoulder that you feel you have to always prove you belong and it makes you extra competitive. Even if you no longer are shorter than everyone, it's still there when you compete. Which again, as someone who ended up 5'10" and is now slightly above average height, when it comes to playing sports, in my head, I'm still the 5'2" I was when I turned 16.
  5. The Saints and Falcons had already outbid Panthers. This was in the news. It was down to them when the Browns came back with the stupid offer.
  6. Sign a LB. There are some interesting vet options and they will be better deals than an OT of the same caliber.
  7. Unless they think we are going to overpay for an LT in free agency I can't take any mock draft that doesn't have us taking a LT in the first 2 picks seriously. We've lost Ickey for the year and he'll be due a contract extension or the franchise tag before he plays another snap for us and a patellar tendon rupture is a serious career altering injury for an NFL offensive tackle. There's no guarantee that he'll be able to return to his previous level of performance which even at that level there where people who question if we should commit to him long term. We also were looking at Moton's replacement last year I remember us being interested in Armand Membou in last year's draft. Moton will be going into his age 32 season and has been having chronic knee issues with an expensive contract so a new RT might be needed sooner rather than later. I don't think this team wants to return to the days of "can he play LT". Morgan being a former player has smartly recognized how important having a good Oline is to a team success.

  9. Search for NFL WR drop stats. Its the first 3 results .
  10. No need for this. Colts will absolutely cut Pittman and use that money to attempted to re-sign their other younger, better WR Alec Pierce
  11. Chubb might be the exact short term answer for a needed pass rush without destroying our available cap and will still allow our young guys to get reps and improve.
  12. In a likely to be cut article on NfL dot com, they had Kmet and Hockinson as TEs that could be cap casualties. I'd take either over what we have right now. Edge and TE in FA blockbuster deals, the rest chump change signings and build the remainder through the draft.
  13. Lol, there is no way Arvell Reese ends up going 12th. If so, that is one of the rare circumstances where I would be 100% be all for a trade up.
  14. 19. Carolina Panthers: DI Caleb Banks, Florida Banks flashed at the Senior Bowl after returning to action for Florida late in the year due to injury. He has the size that NFL teams look for on the defensive interior, and he flashed both as a pass rusher and against the run in college, recording four sacks back in 2024.
  15. Id add depending on price Tutu Atwell for speed and Skyy Moore to be our returner and WR depth
  16. If it were an ultimatum, one or the other? I would agree. We have 2 good WRs who are in their prime growing phase. And between the two we won’t be paying 10 mil per season. fug giving some guy 20 million. Plus we have a QB that really has only fed these guys targets a few times. Where is the benefit that comes close to the cost? Plus I don’t want to release XL.
  17. Yeah that last line.. I don’t want anything to do with him even though it would be fun to challenge Bryce with a leadership situation. I’d like to see how he handled it. It also made me think. It seems like these twitch type fast WRs are more prone to diva jerk personality disorder. Why the hell is that? Rhetorical…. Generally high strung is my guess. Just running on a different clock.
  18. No, I don't want him anywhere near T-Mac or Coker. Tyreek is a terrible locker room presence and it's not like he's some WR savant, he's just faster and quicker than everyone else, which isn't something he can then help teach to our younger guys. I'd LOVE to have a Tyreek type of player, just zero interest in it actually being him.
  19. I would kick the tires on Chubb but we have no business chasing aging receivers who are also scumbags.
  20. Hill won't be in play but I definitely see us discussing Chubb
