  1. Past hour
  2. No there's not. The coach is barely an OC and he struggles with that.
  3. That's not terribly shocking. I know what a lot of people liked about him here was that he took responsibility for things. It was a very pleasant change from Matt Rhule's deflection and finger pointing.
  4. The Panthers' defensive penalties accounted for 78 yards and 6 1st downs of the Saints total offense Sunday. For comparisons, the Saints rushed for 81 yards picking up 6 1st downs. So the defensive penalities contributed to the Saints offense as much as their own rushing game. You can't win games like that.
  5. He is, or was, an excellent DB position coach. Was for us. They gave him scraps for his room, because they knew he would get something out of them. And he did. I was never impressed with his DC’ing. People don’t appreciate how different some of these jobs are, he just doesn’t seem to click as a DC. Did better as HC.
  6. Made me think of superman 3 with Richard Pryor. That movie was so bad. The only thing that could have saved it was Richard Pryor being stand up Richard Pryor.
  7. Yeah, and Ikey is prone to mistakes but I am not gonna crush him as a pivotal reason why we lost that game. Especially in the midst of a very good season for him overall. I think the blame goes almost entirely to Canales and the coaching staff and the bulk of the remnant once again falling on Bryce. Other players like Ikey, Ransom, etc certainly had their fair share of critical individual mistakes but I think the top line issues are the overwhelmingly biggest.
  8. There is, and people outside the fanbase are talking about it. But with that said, the controversy is long running and not limited to us.
  9. I lead HC because in theory it can impact so many of the other problems directly. As someone stated, that point could even easier be made for GM in terms of getting a good HC which will impact everything below that to an even greater extent. Just getting rid of Bryce doesn't fix DC's poor coaching, poor preparation and poor play calling. It doesn't fix Evero's defensive schematic flaws, etc.
  10. There is a formula to win with Bryce Run, run. Play D and hope you can capitalize on an opponent who makes mistakes…..and ask Bryce to make like 3 throws. The exact same gameplan was used the week prior vs the Rams. Thats how you have to call a game pending it’s not 1 of the Atlanta games (and he only gives you one of those a season vs them)
  11. Evero's contract is up anyway. No need... Still not ready to bail on Canales... No one else on the coaching or front office staff I'm dead set against keeping right now. It'd probably be Bryce.
  12. Ok. That was funny. Still doesn't change anything. But that made me chuckle. I actually agree. Just not on that play.
  13. I mean, I don't go to some LLM for literally all my talking points, WarGPT89.
  14. Nope, we ended up being underdogs. Opened as an underdog, moved to being a favorite for a little bit, then went back to being an underdog before kickoff
  15. Cool. So what about the paltry production, missed reads and general ineffectiveness that led to us being down at that point which was largely.....Bryce Young's fault?
  16. The Panthers have now lost 12 consecutive games they were favored in. The last time they won as favorites - against the Texans in 2021... No better way to let the NFL know you are a dumpster fire franchise than a stat like that...
  17. Bryce was sacked one time and that didn't happen until what late in the 4th quarter? Shough was throwing into tight windows under duress all through the first half my man. The proof is in the pudding.
  18. None. What QB never gets sacked? Especially when their LT gets beaten in 2 seconds?
  19. Frank! The highest paid contract on the oline isn't even playing! They couldn't move the LOS in the run game and constantly allowed pressure against the pass. I don't care how much they're paid. Remember we paid a guy at LT who was the Center's brother. He was the highest paid lineman on the team, offense and defense, and he was the worst. Shough played really well in my opinion. Particularly for a rookie. But if you didn't see him get bailed out of a ton of bad passes by his receivers, then I don't know what to tell you either. I don't mind disagreeing. Have a wonderful day as well.
  20. In our 3 recent losses he's helped put up 7, 9 and 17 points. It works both ways. Even in the Jets and Packers wins...his hat-hanging GWDs, only 13 and 16 points respectively. I will acknowledge he's has one really, really nice game and another couple solid ones this season. Wrapping up year three, it should be better than that though.
