For being touted coming out of college as a CB that can tackle, Jaycee sure does whiff a lot. Feel like I see him miss tackles in run support every week which is concerning for a corner with his size as that tells me it’s a pure effort thing. For being a leader on this team being paid as he is, he needs to clean that up.

As to the remainder of your post, there's a lot that I agree with. The "Trade Player "X" bandwagons always fill up quickly on this board, and the one for Hubbard was no exception. I'm a big believer in patience, and this is why.

Pretty sure he means the 5th year option. If he balls out the rest of the way and we win a few more, I am fine extending him to that 5th year option. That's with the caveat that we have multiple options available at the position going into TC. That is a begrudgingly acceptable result.

The amount of Brissett and the Joneses are getting should make us take a hard look at Dalton this offseason. Ask yourselves if you wouldn't pay literally double what Brissett and Mac Jones are getting paid just to have a reliable backup option.
