I’ve thought this before, but especially tonight: start Kalkbrenner at Center. Moose will still get the majority of the minutes, but let Kalk take those (inevitable) 1st quarter fouls against Embiid. Let a fresh Moose wear him down and frustrate him once he gets a little tired.

I wish we could have kept him for depth/special teams but he was way too inconsistent at LB to be a starter. He'd make some plays but was a liability in the passing game - no shot against him being a coverage LB in the modern NFL is nearly impossible with offenses now lining up their best WR in the slot a lot of the time

I'd list the following in terms of needing an upgrade at the starter position 1- LB 2 2- NB 3- TE 4- NT 5- FS 6- WR 3 Now if you talk about rookie depth we need OT C outside CB Edge So if the draft goes something like round 1 - OT round 2- LB Round 3- CB/FS/NB round 4- C I'd be pretty happy

Freedom of discussion aside, I mean people have every right to discuss any potential player… he is 30 and his best seems to be behind him. Sure, he can be as good once as he ever was, but we haven’t been doing this with anyone from the outside unless I’m forgetting. He doesn’t fit the obvious profile of what the bosses will sponsor. We’ve been doing guys still in their mid 20s who have some headroom on that 30 ceiling.

Zero chance Tennessee or Iowa State beat Michigan. Like I said in the bet thread, I didn't love my Bama play because of how good Michigan is. They are dominant. Very good chance UConn beats Duke. Michigan State is turning into who Michigan State always is. A tough team, who basically plays football in sneakers. Worked in the 2000s when games in the 60s were common. Doesn't work anymore.

Im in no way advocating for him. The post I was responding to seemed to imply all of Purdy's targets suck and he made them who they are. Purdy is much better than the Huddle wants him to be and he has also had good players around him. Kittle, CMC, Ayuk, Jennings are no slouches and Deebo had by far his best year with Garoppolo not Purdy.

Looks nice, just gotta stay there or move up.
