OK, how are you going to fix it? Outside of complaining that you don't like Young. How are you fixing your dislike for Young as our QB?

Bryce has exactly TWO wins in he career where the FG kicker didn't finish off the game for the victory. Why is this not disturbing? So we take the L outright or hope he can get us close enough for the FG kicker to win the game because he can't close the deal any earlier or put the game away himself in the closing moments. That Atlanta game earlier this year gave too many Bryce stans rejuvenated hope. For the rest of us, it was an clear and obvious fluke.

In what alternate universe is Lamar and/or Herbert going to be available for trade?

Well, that was a very nice trick but it isn’t rocket science level like they are claiming, just a simple decoy move. Do it enough people and will catch on. It has a shelf life But it was good. credit due. My issue is they over inflate the good, and belittle people that don’t fan Bryce that way. All the time. They are doing it with this.

It's tough to name a worse player. It's pretty impressive that the Panthers were able to find one in Dalton and also have him on the roster. Bryce is ass. Pure and simple. Dalton being even more ass isn't "proof" of anything other than our QB room is super mega ass. The answer for next year is to sign a decent journeyman vet in FA and keep our options open in the draft.

Dowdle had more rushing yards than Young had passing yards and both tds. Dowdle was the offense along with 1 clutch kick.

Totally agree. Keep our picks. Unless we get lucky and find some super star mid to late round pick. We're not landing a sure-fire franchise QB.

You're making my point. You want this and that but when it comes to making a decision on who you are going to replace Young with, you can't give me a player better.

Because he did. I'm as much a Bryce critic as anyone but the reality is he played well enough to help the team win yesterday. Dowdle was a big part of it. The defense was a big part of it. But yes, Young was a big part of it too. It's mental gymnastics to say otherwise. Chad Pennington helped win games. Rex Grossman helped win games. Hell, even David Carr helped win games. That's the way it works in a team sport. Criticize Bryce all you want (I do) but don't cross the line into saying stupid things in the process.

No receiver on the team can be adequately judged given the absolute ineptitude from the QB position. With that said, it appears for the first time ever that we have a legitimately threatening receiving corps. With a professional QB at the helm these guys are going to be tough do deal with, and Dan deserves all the credit in the world for that.

Gruden really talked up our signing of Moehrig. I was told he couldn't cover, but dude is all over the field. Hell of a signing. Rico was the key here.

This. 2026 draft class is weak. And if any team REALLY should have learned its lesson on reaching for a QB in a weak draft class, it's us. We need to trade for a QB. I'd much rather spend multiple 1st rounders on a proven starter than roll the dice again on a rookie. Because that plan clearly hasn't worked out.

Yeah Cincinnati is going to trade Burrow. This isn't fantasy football. No one in their right mind is going to trade away Burrow. Be realistic. You have so many negative takes, but you have no solution. Just continual hate for a QB that has won his last 4 games IN A ROW.

I wouldn't say he was trending toward bust. He was always a good run blocker he just struggled in pass protection. Our newfound run, run, run the ball pass as last resort offense suits him perfectly.

At some point we will need a QB that can burn them in situations like that. But I'll take the win against one of the best teams in the league and give props to the coaches and players that made it happen.

Right...only thing they can do this year is play it out with run game, D and small ball it...I'd like to see what Canales could do with aQB with a live arm
