  1. Past hour
  2. And I mean, my God, man, how did you miss this thread? The vid is arguably even uglier. https://www.carolinahuddle.com/topic/478689-solid-breakdown-of-bryces-poor-performancepff-stuff/?do=findComment&comment=6932117
  3. Yup. Lots of moves to make but half that trade list can just be moved to cut IMO. Easy and well deserved vs being hard to justify someone else spending for them. Should have said lots of contracts to dump vs few. My mistake, few worth keeping. I just don't see those as hard to dump or needing further justification. 2/3s of the roster would be bottom 1/3 being churned on other teams every season.
  4. it really is. I have hope, but unsure how hopeful would translate to the actual final score
  5. Since you act like you just don't have any idea what I'm talking about, and you missed the ugly video that was posted after the first game, I believe, here's another vid showing Bryce missing opportunities. You'll actually have to hit the link.
  6. I'm iffy on Canales at best and if he goes he goes but he's not yet in the same conversation as Rhule. And I mean full picture. Matt Rhule tried to control every little thing with the team down to minute details and he was a complete tool. We'll see how low things get with DC and go from there.
  7. They do have a great chance to win again, I think their biggest risk is a locker room issue which a star WR not getting the ball is probably the biggest catalyst to that happening.
  8. And now we know that it was a Panthers problem, not a Baker Mayfield problem.
  9. Recent History tells you it's gonna be offense again I think 4 out of the last 5 first round picks have been on offense and two in a row have been on WRs I think 95% of us expected us to go defense this year. I almost don't blame them considering what Legette is doing and Theilen wanting to leave. If we end up finishing 0-17 to 4-13, there's an extremely high likelihood of getting another QB in R1 , IMO. Because that means either Bryce got hurt or he performed like poo down the stretch.
  10. Tbf we did want and did trade for both of them. But we absolutely blew it both times while they were if. 2 more in a plethora of bad panthers what ifs
  11. They didn't need Hooker in the first place, but perhaps they had seen enough. Hooker was never highly regarded as a day one or day two pick either. He was a flyer. Green Bay did it right. They had an established QB whose expiration date was within their sight, and drafted a day one (some may have thought day 2) and let him sit for a few years before throwing him into the fire and effectively messing him up. We don't have an ideal situation, and will likely be long for one. If we had kept Darnold or Baker, we may be in that type of situation which would've afforded us the ability to draft a QB on day one or two and give them time to develop. Getting back to Hooker, the only thing that I said is that I'd rather see him. The season is largely fúcked anyways. I can't even say that it's right or fair to throw him out there, but I'm so tired of mentally dealing with the Bryce Young rollercoaster. I've seen enough. Never again will I be open to drafting a short guy at QB.
  12. There were multiple passes that were either extremely low or near the ground or that actually hit the ground. It's why he finally got an intentional grounding call on that final drive when he actually had to try and win the game. Passes to the sideline were often erratic at best too. You just have your head buried in the sand.
  13. People like to forget or gloss over how bad Baker was when he was playing QB in Charlotte. Never seen that many batted balls in my life.
  14. I could see how Baker and Rhule wouldn’t get along too well. Baker: “that’s BS. Would never f-in work, here’s 5 reasons why. dumbass.” Rhule: “just run the GD play.” 4th and 17 incoming Peace out Boy Scout.
  15. I’m still waiting for someone to pull up the film and show me all of the passes he’s missing. Anyone? Shouldn’t be too hard right?
  16. The Tepper's will be posted up in the draft room waxing poetic about their favorite prospects like always. Maybe we'll get lucky with a few picks but it's best to have no expectations.
  17. My question is what’s going on with Cade Mays? He actually played better than AC last year, he should start IMO.
  18. I can see Baker being one to call out BS when he sees it and I bet he wanted out as fast as he could. I remember (maybe falsely) dude not being able to complete a pass and now he’s in Tampa as one of the better franchise QBs in the NFL. Purposeful?
  19. Watching him party with their HC the other day makes me wonder if he does. He actually has a pretty good team now, going for consecutive wins streak next game, has a shot at #1 ranking.
  20. Yeah but not one poster has framed it that way. Starting in the 3rd quarter the Cards did invite the Panthers to take cheap checkdowns to eat clock and the Panthers did it. And the strategy worked perfect in the 3rd. 14 play drive of TE/RB dumps and the entire 3rd quarter was gone. Cards then carried the same strategy into the 4th. It just didn’t work as well for them because what of what the rest of the Card team did 3 drives is what we are talking about. Not 3 + quarters. Those 3 drives were the bulk of Bryce’s production. Literally every play wasn’t a freebie. They weren’t trying to let Renfrow get into the endzone once they got all the way down. But Renfrow was down there because the Cards just wanted us to take the dump plays the gave us to run clock. When the Cards didn’t want us to eat clock we couldn’t do diddly vs a meh D
  21. Young cost a 9, 1 and a proven WR1 plus the 2nds. The 9ers weren't in a position that missing on that pick was going to be devastating because they still had Jimmy G. He was a bust pick, but not as big IMO because the expectations weren't as big and immediate.
  22. While the Panthers have become a NFL laughingstock Tepper has actually fielded a pretty good soccer team. Watching him party with the HC the other day was infuriating.
  23. Was this back when Rhule had Darnold in bubble wrap because he thought Sam was so fragile? You literally can’t make this stuff up, the curse is real.
