Wallace doesn’t do anything. His mic’ed up, the MF was never near the ball. He’s really bad. -

When they structure these deals this way, they have to know what the real deal is. For him, two year deal. -
If that MF Rueben Bain slips to the Saints or Bucs, we are in trouble.

I would say that yeah the high scores are for the most important things. The hardest things to get right.

Hypothetical question draft content*
micnificent28 replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
I do not disagree with your philosophy at all and typically I don't believe in RB in the first round but I think if you want a super talented guy like exceptional those guys go in the first round You're not getting Gibbs or love or Bichon or saquan you're not getting those type transformational figures anywhere but the first round I think our need at tackle is temporary -
We are "17-2" with our CURRENT STARTING 5! Miller, Ball, and Kon are the top 3 in the NBA in 3's made since Jan. 1st. If you aren't excited about this squad, then you just need to move on, you wont ever be excited.
-
I like seeing the high scores and the low scores seems like an easy fix
-
And they've lost to Indiana (twice), New Orleans, Brooklyn, and Chicago.
-
WHat I try to do is disregard my personal preferences. My philosophy is spend $$ on the OL and not on RBs--never draft a RB in the first round and RARELY give a RB a second contract. There are exceptions, so for me, I would have to base it on needs over all else. We NEED a starting T We NEED a starting ILB We NEED a rotational Edge We NEED a starting C We NEED a WR to a lesser degee, if we stay healthy We probably NEED a starting FS. I am concerned that Rico will be gone (right move) and Chuba will be 27-about the age RBs start to decline. So you could make an argument for Love, but if we drafted Love at 19, I know we'd get good value, but I would be so pissed off.

Dan Morgan: “We’ll explore signing Bradley Chubb”
NAS replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
Do it. It takes away the pressure to reach for a LB in the draft , but you can still do so if one comes available as BPA. -
Blinking is for the pussies lol
-
Yes, he did it at the request of european football teams like Chelsea who refuse to put their player safety at risk, yet he won't do it for his own teams.
-
All I really know is I am about out on Wallace, he can stay as a backup. I miss the days of AJ Klein being being able to go elsewhere and start, but was a backup here.

Panthers give Ashawn Robinson permission to seek trade

He is 30, had a decent year (average in my opinion) and earned around $12m. He was decent, but the Cap savings for cutting him is over $10m. -

If we went LB at 19, the LB at 51 better be head and shoulders the BPA on our board. I was thinking more like 1st or 2nd and then double dipping in the mid-rounda But yeah, if we went LB back to back jn the 1st and 2nd and they turned out like Star and Short I don't think anyone would be complaining. Well, not many anyway. There's always gonna be a few no matter what. LOL - Today

I have been doing a bunch of mock drafts and this one interesting scenario popped up that made me question myself. I know our needs edge, mike, OT,wr, and secondary. This situation Love fell to 19 and I know we don't NEED a RB. But if we stay out at 19(I don't think we do) I don't think I could say no to love. If this team really believes in BPA and love is there at 19 who realistic is better than love at this point? Love is a top 5 talent, there is no akeem messador or Caleb banks or Kenyon Sadiq type player I think I would rather have than love. He would make Bryce life much easier, he's a homerun threat on a offense that lacks speed. He's essentially modern day Reggie bush to me and I think he could play alongside Chubba on passing down potentially as a slot and be the speed threat we really need. I think it's a bit crazy but I would be willing to wait til the second round and see who falls at edge(I think we land Chubb or loyd in free agency) maybe chase TJ parker if he falls or Rodriguez or golliday in the second/third. What say you?

They have also beaten the Rockets, Lakers, Spurs, and Nuggets...

He did a nice job for us. Sorry to lose him. Cue the O’Jays -
It seems weird to do that but one of my favorite drafts was Star and Short. Morgan double dipped in FA with the guards. Attack that poo Dan. Realistically, a quality vet FA that is totally up to speed, like Lloyd, and a young sidekick is probably a better plan but I wouldn’t complain if we drafted two.

I'd be all for taking two LBs in this draft. -
You excited because they've beaten Washington, Chicago and Indiana - who all are tanking. Hip Hop Hooray!!! Let's see what they do @Boston, @Phoenix and @San Antonio coming up. If this team is above .500 on 4/1, which is coming off a 7-game home stand, I'll be shocked.

Panthers give Ashawn Robinson permission to seek trade
thunderraiden replied to X-Clown's topic in Carolina Panthers
Just means they informed him that he is cut if he doesnt find a trade partner. With the weak IDL state of free agency there may be a team willing to swap picks in the same round so he doesnt hit the open market. Because obviously his ass is about to be cut. -
Because I find it hilarious how many people like yourself thought it was a terrible pick. And I can laugh at that. Don't get your panties in a wad because you are one of the veterans on this board,. Can we all agree this message board is terrible, we have about 10 people that post on it, and think they are the only people with opinions that matter. I also find it funny you respond to my comment, but this comment gets no response. You didn't have to respond at all if you didn't like what I said. "How low has this fan base gotten when 29-31, and 10th in the East has the "fans" in a frenzy of how good this team. Detroit came in here and beat the brakes (literally) off of the Hornets. Kon is a good story, and I admittedly hated the pick (and was wrong). But much like the Panthers, until this team fixes its coaching staff, they will continue be a "maybe we back door into the playoffs every once and a while" organization."

Good time to focus on the trenches in this draft. At least the DL class seems kinda deep and the OL class seems decent. -
