  2. I get it but I dont think there is an excuse for it to be absolute poo. Weakened maybe. But not this bad.
  3. You would. But this regime has bent over backwards to surround our #1 pick with top end talent after early on bloviating about not needing to invest so much around him because he's that good. So there's only so much to go around. Especially when we are 4th in OL spending.
  4. Fingers crossed those Nakobe Dean being available for trade rumblings will start again.
  5. The Panthers are releasing Josey Jewell, per team writer Darin Gantt, clearing a roster spot as the veteran linebacker continues his recovery from a concussion suffered last December. The two sides did try to find common ground on a revised contract, per Joe Person of The Athletic, but a release was determined as the best path forward. A team spokesman said (via Gantt) that Jewell is focusing on his health and consented to the release so that the team did not have to waste a roster spot on a player with an uncertain return timeline. However, the Panthers are leaving the door open for a reunion if Jewell manages to complete his recovery. https://www.profootballrumors.com/2025/07/panthers-to-release-lb-josey-jewell
  6. Joe Person @josephperson · 2m The Panthers tried out 14 players on Monday. They have signed the first one from that list: Former Seahawks TE Tyler Mabry. @mike_e_kaye 1st.
  7. I see that he has been suffering from concussions it may be for the best
  8. Our ILB position is dog poo. You would think that would be a strength with Morgan at GM.
  9. Best we can do is wait for cuts at this point. Can't trot Rozeboom out there as a starter
  10. https://x.com/aaronwilson_nfl/status/1947768586040217929?s=46 #Buccaneers worked out Noah Fant
  11. Better grip on your man to hand relationship
  12. Maybe this puts Moehrig and Ransom on the field at the same time more. A lot of people questioned the pick because both of them are most effective playing closer to the LOS than deep in the secondary, so maybe this makes us use one as a hybrid LB/S at times.

    Jewell Out

    Bring back Luke Kuechly
  14. lol I’m not laughing at him still having concussion related symptoms, because that’s awful of course. But I was one of the most vocal anti-Walker people on here leading into the draft. And while I’d obviously have still gone with T-Mac, had I known this would happen, I’d have been MUCH more on board with taking Walker to be an ILB who gets used as a situational pass rusher as well.
  15. Mighty thin LB room. The weak link on this team. The young guys aren't going to have much time to produce. Basically have to hit the ground running.
  16. I mean at this point the guy needs to prioritize his health and his life if he's been in the concussion protocol for months. Just hang it up and go live. Best of luck to him and his family. As for the state of the linebacker group in general. Just go young and rebuild. Shaq Thompson was not going to save that unit no matter how much some folks might want to convince themselves otherwise. Gotta let it go and reset.
  17. I dont even know who is out there. Bring Kruger-Hill back for depth. Maybe Eric Kendricks has some left in the tank? Maybe Dan can make a last second trade that pans out like the Mike Jackson one did last year.
  18. Agreed. Let's be optimistic and hope we get lucky. We should be high on the priority list, but I couldn't find the current order with a quick search. Everything was too outdated for me to quote confidently.
  19. Yeah, if you're shopping for major contributors in July you're screwed. We were already paper thin at LB. This isn't good. We're gonna have to be shopping that waiver wire hard and hope someone surprising hits the garbage pile.
  20. wish we drafted that dude from State at LB right about now
  21. Quick glance says he is good against the run, but a liability in coverage. 2 down back. Might be the best available at this point, though.
  22. Interestingly enough Deion worked hand in hand with Mike Leach to develop his offense. Mike Leach is an air raid guy. Are you arguing for Dillon Gabriel to be the #1 pick? I mean, he put up crazy numbers against better competition and he wasn't throwing to the Heisman winner.
  23. Oh no he was great last year
  24. Today
  25. I'm hoping we go after Eric Kendricks
