  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah, TB seems head and shoulders above the rest of the division with a sizable step down to ATL and then is and N.O. at the base of a cliff below that. I do think we have a good chance of being better than N.O. and if Penix has a sophomore slump 2nd in the division wouldn't be a crazy outcome but something pretty crazy would have to happen for us to catch TB.
  3. Some writers are either a. Optimists or b don't know the team of course 2 things can be true at the sane time i see 6 wins, tops and that is generous Evero is one of the main reasons i feel that way …it wouldn't matter what players he has… thank God his contract is up this year .
  4. That's pretty wild. I figured 6 or 8 wins would probably be the rosiest prediction.
  5. I mean, it would take injuries to knock Tampa down to being on par with us.
  6. The NFC South is so bad that hosting a playoff game isn't impossible. But neither is picking in the top 5 next draft.
  7. NFL is weird....a team can win 4 games or 7 games and it really just come down to lucky breaks or unlucky breaks. This team really feels like a 6ish wins type team. They could win more or less. The division is bad. So, I expect bad a lot of games featuring bad football teams and that can result in wins. 6ish wins sounds about right.
  8. Adam Rank (NFL Media): 9-8 Nate Davis (USA Today Sports): 8-9 Joe Person (The Athletic): 8-9 Alex Zietlow (The Charlotte Observer): 8-9 Mike Kaye (The Charlotte Observer): 7-10 NFL Nation (ESPN): 7-10 Vinnie Iyer (The Sporting News): 7-10 Greg Auman (FOX Sports): 7-10 Conor Orr (Sports Illustrated): 6-11 Ali Bhanpuri (NFL Media): 6-11 Matt Johnston (Sportsnaut): 6-11 John Breech (CBS Sports): 5-12 Moe Moton (Bleacher Report): 4-13
  9. It's so funny that our perceived areas of strength heading into the season (OL/WR) are limping into week one. Trade AT Cut Renfrow Coker to IR for 4 weeks Re-sign Renfrow 3/5 OL battling injuries Thank goodness the early part of the schedule is opportunistic for us.
  10. And then we end up trading up in the draft anyway to recover those 5 spots we missed out on by winning those meaningless games.
  11. Yeah, I don't get it either unless they are afraid of another of their lineman being less than 100% and needing BC to fill in at another position on the line. But I would trust Zavala or Mays filling in there and keeping BC at LT over having Yosh step on the field
  12. Sadly, this is when we usually end up winning games and cost ourselves like 5 spots in the draft...
  13. Probably some overlap with the population that wants to tank. Yet don't see that IR is a mechanism for getting younger players on the field and roster without having to cut starters.
  14. Today
  15. WTF is their problem with BC if they are considering playing Niman over him? Other than BC playing elsewhere and even then why? If Moton is healthy than BC should be first up as backup at LT.
  16. Christenson has actually been a better pass blocker than Ickey when hes played LT. JS Also our guards are gonna play.
  17. He's far from the only one around here who likes to shout "opifacts" aka made up opinions that they believe are fact due to lack of basic research/understanding.
  18. Its yes or no. There's no over under unless it's betting on multiple drinks or people.
  19. From one position group...the only good one at that on the roster
  20. well, going back and looking, Canales went 0-2 starting off games w/ big boy passes w/ Bryce Young last year to open up games. So my nickel is on a Chubba run or a short pass to Tmac.
  21. Get ready for no run game and no blind side protection yay
