So we moved up one round to take a small cap dump and a prospect with no games played? Not sure how this makes any sense for the sharks, this guy is deff going to the AHL and won't actually affect our cap.
-
Here ya go...
-
I mean with Caleb there would be no reason to have Darnold. That was one hell of a trauma inducing trade.
-
I said there are three groups. How is that looping everyone together?
-
Imagine a team that had some of the players on these remaining squads on one all together. Caleb, Darnold, CMC, DJ Moore, Darnell Wright, Tyrique Stevenson, Fiske… could you just imagine if a franchise had all those assets?

Like I said, I think the 4th was a good call and good play. Should have been a completion. Betweeen the Saints with game bad call on TMac and the Buccs game with bad calls swinging 6 points their way, I am not surprised they didn't get that holding call. The Panthers have just been on the wrong side of calls for most of the season for whatever reason.
-
Correct. Boy wouldn't that be a "bad feelings" game. Interestingly enough, Ben Johnson probably has very little fire about that given that it all happened before his time there. Verus the fire he has for his divisional rivals.
-
So, basically your entire argument is Sam Darnold??? So one data point is now a "storied history?" Speaking of hyperbole.... 95+% of these "oh you'll see when he leaves he's gonna be eliteimtellingyouhewillbetheguy" episodes end up with crickets shortly thereafter because those players rarely excel elsewhere for players that the majority of the fanbase wanted gone. That is very rare.
-
If the defense held, the Panthers would be in Chicago tomorrow, correct?
-
Surprised no one in here said he's coping.
-
The last two starting quarterbacks (granted, one of them just lost the division to us).

Should Canalas bring someone else in to call offensive plays?
Clicheking replied to Jackson113.2's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't mind if he stays the play caller but I wish he bring in an experienced play caller prefably a former coach to help with game playing and game days because Idzik isn't it. I thought that would be Caldwell but I honestly have no idea what he does, shows he's still employed with us but I never see him -
You went hyperbole in the thread title, bruh. Propagandist??? WTF. He is a homer. We got a ton of them, Reddit's full of them, etc, etc. They all might be somewhat to very annoying but J. Stew has a pass that none of them do. He gets the Luke, Olsen, Cam, TD, etc pass of being one of us and also LEADING us. Also, the Huddle should really be more attuned to going after former players in the post-Dan Morgan incident era. We all may have varying opinions of Dan of some of the poo that gets thrown his way is absolutely unconscionable. Like the head injury jabs, etc. We have no reason to be doing that poo to our own. /rant

"Homer," is the better term. On an off note, you don't have to be Dave Canales to be a lifelong fan. Get it?

Major Concerns with this team…with numbers
philit99 replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
Here is a little smoke about it. Doesn’t name us, but we have inquired, trust me -
This isn't a good Bills team, though. That's the rub. I think if Sean Payton really pushes to run the ball down their throats, they can easilu beat Buffalo. But....I don't think Payton has that in him. He is too arrogant about his offensive playcalling prowess to just sit back and play 3 yards and a cloud of dust. The NFC is brutal. You have a ton of exceptional defenses but only one elite QB(Stafford) and one potentially elite QB(Williams). Darnold and Purdy are just trying to not fug it up. Purdy can catch some magic but IDK if it can be sustained the whole playoffs. Darnold is just waiting to implode. He has been in the bottom quarter of QB's in the NFL statistically since the 49ers comeback win. That is what is gonna be interesting to watch about Houston and Seattle, if they are able to overcome having such bad QB's.
-
"Trash" is very much hyperbole, I would never "trash" Stew. I must admit, however, that "Homer" is the better word, especially with the realization of what's happening in America during these times. Sensitivities are up.

NFL has been setting up the Josh Allen super bowl narrative for a while. It will either be bills Rams or bills Seahawks in the super bowl. -

stolen from the reddit: also stolen: -
J. Stew is mostly homer and also isn't ever going to be a neutral party for a ton of reasons. On the Panthers payroll, ACTUAL fan of the team, experience as an NFL player, etc, etc. Leave the man and his opinions alone and don't trash a former Panthers great for something so trivial. You don't have to agree. He isn't trying to brainwash anyone.

The “news” media is in a sad state. My opinions on what news media should be vs. what entertainment media should be is very different. I don’t need objectivity in my sports media, and I don’t really care about any teams other than the ones I root for. I was also very vocally critical towards the end of the season about how stupid our local media was for every week something went good for us talking to our coach and team like they had already clinched the division when there were many weeks left. However, I don’t need a member of the Panthers media team to fake any objectivity or hold back compliments from Panthers players just because I feel some type of way, and I do think it would be better for the team’s brand if our former players in the media threw away the mask of over objectivity. Other former players for other organizations don’t, but since we’re just the little ol Panthers we have to accept that? No thanks.
