Moose Hoover started following The Plan To Fix The Pantsers

Ok I give. Tear everything down to the studs. So TMac. Sell the team to an ownership group of MJ, Edwin McCain, Hootie, Kelly McGillis, and Andi McDowell if she promises to not be a biche. Sign Russ Wilson. He deserves this purgatory. Make his agreement for 2 years and a clause where he HAS to play every down, no matter what. NO MATTER WHAT. Draft only linemen the next 2 years. Protect the precious #4 at all costs. Buy a treadmill and make smitty use it. Out.

It's sure looking that way. Who knows what BS he comes up with next. He seems to be a bottomless well of embarrassment.

Honestly probably has more to do with how I feel about this organization than Bryce himself I was a Stroud guy pre draft. Who btw before yesterday had a 19/15 td:int ratio after his famous post game talk to Caleb. Slowik was scheming dudes wide open Stroud’s rookie year. Coaching matters so much We’re seeing that more than ever now with guys like Darnold, Baker and maybe even Daniel Jones (who I thought was crap and probably still is). I was a big fan of Baker pre draft and a fan of the trade. This organization had this dude looking CFL caliber-esque. I just look at the big picture with this organization/roster and I truly feel no QB could make it work. Maybe Lamar because he can run. I am a big Cam Ward guy and that roster/coaching situation in Nashville is god awful as well and he’s struggling but of course he’s going to. This fan base was spoiled with Cam. He was a generational talent that kept guys employed that eventually held us back as a whole Look at our WR and TE room. It’s embarrassing and it’s been this way all 3 years of Young’s career. Young is only 24 and imo he’s way too smart to completely write off just yet. Sure there are physical limitations, it’s why I didn’t want to draft him but there’s just no way he’s honestly as bad as this organization makes him look Can both things be true? Can this organization suck and so can Young? Yes. But as a betting man, I’m betting this has a lot more to do with this organization than it does Young. History says so

I dont get this thought process from panther fans either. A lot of them are saying mccvay is gonna grab him up and turn him into a MVP. I would love to know based off what exactly?? Like I need a detailed explanation for the reach.

We will win either the Dolphins or Jets game and everyone will be singing his praises again. This team is good for throwing a crumb of a good game every several weeks and the rose colored glasses get put right back on. The Morgan, Canales and Young stans are chomping at the bit to get on here after win number 2 and write their lengthy "i told you so" posts.
-
Sure, keep him as the starter, but activate Hooker off the practice squad. Couldn't get much worse.

the offense is also the one unit that has been bad every single game Not nearly as bad as the defense. They set a record last year for points allowed last year in case you didn't hear. One unit, has had all of our resources dumped into it the last several years as the expense of having a well built team. That’s our offense. Tershawn Wharton, 54 million Tre’Von Moehrig 51 million Patrick Jones II 20 million Bobby Brown III 21 million These were all signed before the season to bolster the defense and the defense gave up 3 rushing TD's and 2 passing TD's yesterday with Drake Maye going 14/18 passing. And again, ST gave a TD and good field position on punts. Again, I am not defending Bryce's play yesterday. He didn't play nearly good enough but the teams problems go way beyond just him.

Prolly thinks that because of the history of 1st round picks let alone #1 overall picks getting multiple opportunities. Bryce will maybe get one more opportunity but it'll likely be a competition type opportunity that im not sure he will win... that is... if he gets that chance. Im not so sure. But who knows. Lots of high ego coaches and GMs with get rich quick schemes that end horribly.
-
Here's the thing. It ain't just Bryce. Sure, he's not going to make it as starting QB in the NFL, but there's a whole team out there. And that's what we saw on display, again. Those guys, outside of the originally scripted first 10 plays, couldn't do anything. They were unprepared to play, they were badly coached in the moment and reverted to bad efforts in all three phases of the game. It was just bad. And that's on the coaches. And management. It's time to go ahead and blow this whole thing up. Let Morgan go first, get a new GM. Then get a new coaching and scouting staff. As much crap as Fox, Rivera and Hurney got, they were never, ever as embarrassingly bad as we have been for years now. This is the softest team in the league, most poorly built and least capable of finding their cojones. It's time this was done and over with. Yes, seven coaches in seven years would become eight. Sad as that is, we have no choice but to continue fishing until we suddenly catch something. Maybe we'll get lucky and Tomlin will be freed at the end of the year and Tepper will back a truck up to the man's bank account and just avalanche the dollars at him until he signs.

The breakdown I did on each franchises longest streak of losing seasons was a REAL eye opener for me. We are way closer to the bottom of the list(shortest spans) than the top. That's what I am afraid of, that we aren't even at the halfway point of this mess yet.
-
Oh I'm not a fan of Idzik calling plays after the preseason glimpse, but earn your keep. Dave can call one good drive a game...and then shits the bed. I would hope anyone in the building could be capable of the same. Canales is too nice IMO. I don't think a coach needs to mother fug everybody, but he needs to be capable of it, and sometimes, during the game would be nice. Instead we clap and spout positivity and say we're learning.
-
We aren't quite there yet. But you know it is on the way.
-
Not to start an argument here, but why do you feel this way? I mean its crystal clear at this point he has massive physical limitations and if we are being honest mental ones as well. Dude just doesnt have it at all.

With the 1st Pick in the 2026 Draft....
kungfoodude replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
This roster is so bad there is no reason to be impatient(minus the retarded owner). There is no magic bullet waiting in the draft or offseason that is gonna magically transform this terrible roster. Dig in, quit being completely moronic every offseason, and you will be able to build something. -
-
I don’t have any emotional attachment to Young. If he goes then so be it. Do I think he’ll eventually get a fair shake somewhere and prove he can play? Yes but it’s obvious it won’t be here so whatever. Ultimately until we get the GM/HC thing right nothing else matters. Literally nothing else and right now we’re a mess in that department Dan and Dave aren’t it. We’re honestly lucky we have our 1st round pick right now. Had GB asked for someone like A’shawn, Parsons would be a Panthers and we’d be out 2 1st rounders
-
So is that our ceiling now? Tepper figures it out and makes the payoffs in a token appeance before it falls apart again every decade? Jets are coming up so we will see. Poop rolls downhill and at this point this team can't look down on anything IMO.
-
Yeah, I had a feeling that was the case and time has proven me right. Not four years later, here we are substantially worse.
-
The last time I heard of our HC having meetings with our owner, the HC got fired. Sad to say that Tepper is still pulling strings and Canales is just his puppet in keeping Bryce out there on the field. those runs on third and long spoke volumes to me, that he doesn’t have faith or believe in Bryce (Bryce has earned that distrust).
-
Hand it off to who? He hired his homeboy instead of someone that could potentially take over. And we hired him because he supposedly could be our playcaller and not have to restaff an OC each year.
-
I would day our shitshow will end up being worse. Thanks Tepper.
-
We haven’t made the playoffs or had a winning season in almost a decade. I’m afraid we’re in that era.
-
That's the thing, there is always something dumb in their own way. It's the norm. They just overpay for talent. Other than that it's a pooshow.

With the 1st Pick in the 2026 Draft....
PanthersNCSU replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
Dante Moore is the guy if he comes out. McShay is in love with him, but wants him to stay another year. Grab Caleb Downs, get a 2nd round QB, and keep drafting QBs every year until you find one. -
Seems like once he gets off the scripted stuff, things get pretty dicey. It's not a new trend either, disturbingly.
