I’m not familiar with the escalators in his deal. I know they get paid something like 40k - 90k depending on winning or losing.

I would tend to agree on the Europe front as it would require fans to support “their” team rather than their chosen team or simply attend an NFL game as a neutral. However, if there is sufficient demand and monetary gain, and they could make it work schedule wise, then it wouldn’t surprise me if the league did consider it in the future. It would be interesting to see which North American cities they would choose to add in a potential expansion. Personally I think creating an NBA D-League would arguably be a better option and create less requirements on facilities and stadiums. -
Like Kuechly….. still picking off QBs

Two Great line backers taken from us by concussions in their prime. There will only be one luke god he was good. -
True hopefully he gets all pro to make up for it, but if he doesn't he will probably get an alternate nod
-
I mean I wouldnt hate using him as a goal line QB...

It's about the cash payout, which is around $100,000, and the further earnings that can come from endorsements when they can add "NFL pro-bowler" under the name, and future contract earnings. Otherwise yes, no one wants to play in the game or gives a hoot about it.

298 yards per game, 20 points per game to 306 yards per game, 19 points per game What has been clear, is the improvement from 2024 to 2025 that isn't Bryce Young. We have wins this year because we went from historically bad defense, to NFL average defense. That's a HUGE jump. Offense remains inefficient, low ceiling.....and basically hang their hat on making 2-3 plays a game and that going our way at an unstainable rate. So many of the look at X game for improvement....is the Panthers O and Bryce not being good for the majority of the game and just catching a play or 2. We all know I want Bryce gone. But if Bryce isn't gone....you need a new OC, new skill talent and have to take all sorts of steps to fix this O if we are ever going to matter. Because we do not have good offense. Everyone should be able to at least agree the offense is not good enough and this is a really quirky season.

Dan Morgan has done a pretty good job of drafting "dawgs" and not underwear warriors -

If they sack him I hope they promote Josh Grizzard I played football with him since we were 6, dude is awful and goes full retard in the red zone -
Fan voting is a joke. Remove that poo so players that deserve it get to go, not just name recognition guys.

Pro Bowl is largely irrelevant players dont even want to play it anymore

No, you're right. It doesn't mean you can't call out his flaws and poor play. But it also doesn't mean you can't admit when he plays well and shows improvement. Not you personally, just in general I mean.

I will say, I do think there's a version of Bryce that could be really successful as a high-volume passer in a spread-based offense built around quick throws and timing-based intermediate throws with deeper throws schemed up around them. I actually think the power run based offense we're running is a poor fit for Bryce as it requires him to play under center far more often. It's a very traditional offensive approach whereas I think a scheme that spreads defenses out and lets Bryce distribute the ball quickly with anticipation and accuracy is the sweet spot for him. The key, of course, is to find a way to run the ball efficiently out of those formations. Our personnel right now (backs and OL) aren't good fits for that style of offense and I'm not sure it's a scheme Dave Canales favors very much either.
-
I root for him, and I hope for the best, as does essentially everyone. But that doesn’t mean you can’t call out flaws and bad plays. And that’s what a lot of people get wrong. I hope I’m wrong and that he continues to improve a lot, I just doubt it. But I’ve been wrong before
-
It matters to him financially, I hate it for him
-
It's a popularity contest unless you have some crazy stats. Positions like DT are not going to pop with sacks or tackles so arguably the best defensive tackle in the game gets snubbed because he's on a team that doesn't get a lot of national media coverage.

If expansion happens it will be in North America. But by how many and suitable cities and markets would be challenges to overcome, among others. I do think at some point there could be a European league again, but not an NFL Europe-based division. The single games are proven money-makers without having to commit to a team. -

If he’s fired, he might be our new DC. I always liked his defense in the past, a lot more aggressive than what we currently have. What’s everyones take on him as a potential DC for us? -
I think that depends on whether you think he's done developing. If he continues to improve as he has over the last year and a half for another season or two (especially with his deep passing) we'll really have something. I know there are questions about how high his ceiling actually is, which I think is the real foundation of the debate about him, but at this point I don't think it matters much because we're not moving on from him for at least another season and likely another 2 seasons. So wherever side of the debate people are on we all might as well sit back, root for the guy and hope for the best.

Me, watching the play, I didn't hear the whistle calling Latham down and was like "Oh poo! He just set the ball down!" I was really afraid we were going to have one of those "never live it down" moments where a Buc comes by, snags the live ball and takes it in for a TD as if it was a fumble. Didn't even notice DB's absence on that play, but if he's regularly being pulled on third down, there may be some rest periods needed for the big guy. Looks like they still handled business, though, so maybe Evero has a better ear to the team than we do. -
Yes and no - AT was slow as fug but he sure came down with anything thrown anywhere near him.

A further problem would be more teams to share the money around. It’s one reason why some feel persuading NBA owners to accept two new teams will be difficult because they go from 1/30 to 1/32 in revenue. Will expansion happen? I’m not sure, but if the money keeps growing and they continue to expand into new markets, then I suppose expansion can’t be ruled out in the future. I suppose a number of teams would need to be added to maintain balance; however, there have been uneven numbers at times in the past, so they could schedule around it. -
We all know he deserves it but it was also pointed out that he’d need to post 7 or more sacks prior to selection in order to get the recognition. Hes got 5. He’ll probably end up with 6-7. Doesn't matter tho, we know what we got.
-
Staying under the radar. Hate he missed out on it, but we are all better when they think we're less than we are. It's our job to change their minds, hopefully in February.
