I would be happy with Freeling or Fano in R1. I really don't see how we don't draft OL in R1. I honestly could see us trade back for one of our mid round picks to grab one extra and draft up to 3 linemen in this draft. There is good guard/swing linemen available rounds 4 and later.

We have absolutely been short sighted. Fixated on weapons for Bryce mostly. And that stupid fuging trade to 1.1, all those picks. It cuts your options down so bad. And as bad as it was, we made it worse by creating a huge hole where there wasn’t one with DJ Moore. How many picks were spent trying to fill that hole? Combine them with the picks sent to Chicago…. it’s bartender give me another…. I think it was highly likely that they used a later pick on OT in this draft due to Moton’s situation, before the Icky stuff. We can’t know now.

We don't have deep pockets this year. Morgan is having to sit on the sidelines of the first couple of rounds of free agency before he can dive in and begin competing. Right now, if it's a name you're really familiar with out there... don't expect us to get them.

We don’t know that yet. And, I am hoping a diamond is in the draft, whoever they sign. To me the idea is get a starting level pro, and draft his sidekick who hopefully will outshine him in year two. That doesn’t mean pay the star though.

I sort of think it is and isn't with regards to our tackle situation. I see tackle like QB. Even if you have 2 decent starting tackles, you need to be developing one behind them constantly. Expecting both tackles to make it through the season unscathed is not reasonable, nor is it reasonable to think you can pay both tackles elite tackle money. Always have to be developing a backup plan. 2 elite tackles and a QB on his 2nd contract can easily eat over half your cap space. That's not sustainable long term. I don't blame Dan for what happened to Icky, but I think we've been short sighted since drafting him. We've pretty much ignored OL in the draft and that's not something you can do with the attrition rate of OL.

Sounds like biz as usual is wtf. I was kind of out on Geno anyway, after last season. Also hoping for younger with a possible future. And lord forbid Bryce would have to worry about a guy waiting for him to fug up. So, maybe don’t fug up. Simple. That is the idea.

I have looked at this Lloyd thing a little sideways since I learned the Jags didn’t pick up the 5th year. But I haven’t looked at film of him or anything. It doesn’t much matter what I see, they have not listened to me once in 30 years. I see these little warning signs, as no joke. Someone needs to dig into the why of all that and I can only hope we have.
