  1. Past hour
  2. who the fug said it was his fault? Goddamn man dont create mythical narratives to try and boost him up. He had a meh game. You cant deny that. But it was a team loss and we will never know if the game plan was a result of what DC thinks of Bryce but his words and actions kindof hint to it
  3. whats crazy is that he got sacked 5 yards back from where he got the snap IN THE SHOTGUN!!
  4. I'll ask you like I asked mrcompletely11, what was it about this game that makes you believe the loss was his fault. I keep asking but no one has given me a specific reason yet. Just a simple question.
  5. Got it. So the only way we get in with a split is beating Seattle and they lose to the dolphins
  6. I simply asked about this one game. What was it about this game that makes you believe the loss was his fault.
  7. Can you see the open gap? Bad play call or poorly executed by Chuba? All you needed to do was run off Ekwonu to the defenders foot with some straight ahead power running. The play call pulled the LB from filling the gap between Ekwonu & Tremble. Jump cutting to the right side when the play is a 33 dive? Seems like a significant lack of vision & decision making by the RB was the main problem.
  8. Yeah the first one is more of a coincidental thing, I do not think there is any correlation there but it just sounds good!
  9. Years ago I put on my Nostradamus hat and foreetold that the WRs would start avoiding hits by sliding and running out of bounds more. More track and world class sprinters would enter the realm of football and its millions of paydays I still believe it, honestly Id already be doing if I was a WR....who cares about the public outcry, the sport is heading towards flag-football each year. I think its still within 20 years of happening, but the under handed free throw never took off cause players are too pridefull even if they are scoring more and helping the team win...... Unless its the Superbowl, does it matter to your body if the pass goes for 37 yards or 35 and 4 guys tired to kill me....its business....
  10. It’s simple. We all saw with our own eyes. The best QB on the field Sunday was a 2nd round rookie in his 6th NFL start….and that QB is on a worse team. and Bryce was the #1 overall pick, is now in his 3rd season….and again, in both matchups the Saints QB was the best QB on the field. We have a QB problem
  11. Most of the comments I've seen have been very scathingly critical of Canales in game management and decisions. Evero and multiple key defenders have gotten a ton of smoke too. As far as Bryce goes I think it depends on the viewer. Some people were all about giving him credit for game winning drives even when he basically did little or nothing but still received the credit. Now the same people want to cry foul when Bryce is expected to as a third year QB and a first overall pick not lose to a rookie 2nd round pick 8 games into his career. Well I'm sorry it just doesn't work that way. He's the face of the franchise. He's the third highest paid player on the team this year. The team goes as the QB goes. Aside from the late sack he was kept relatively clean throughout the bulk of the game even with the injuries we've had along the OL. Shough on the other hand was harassed throughout the game and he still completed passes into tight windows throughout the game. Bryce on the other hand while he is receiving a positive grade for his scrambling saw fit to bail on the pocket throughout the game. Some of those were justified others were not and resulted in missed opportunities. Then there is the elephant in the room that even Dave Canales himself even uttered the quiet part out loud about. That is the fact that in short yardage situations we cannot under any circumstances use our #1 pick on a QB sneak. Which let's just keep it 100 here. If this were any other team everyone here including the loudest Bryce defenders would be laughing their asses off. All of this encompasses a singular conclusion that no matter how much people may like Bryce Young the person ultimately he does not appear to be a QB that we can compete for and win in the playoffs with. It isn't hating or any other ridiculous label to acknowledge this reality. It's just life.
  12. after 3 years of this you are still making excuses? Goddamn people If you think he is a NFL qb then great, thats on you, but there is now 40ish plus games telling us a different story. Nobody that I have seen has blamed him for the loss, but it was just another "meh" game from him and lol at PFF.
  13. I'm sorry but I don't agree. Maybe a win but will not be in the playoffs.
  14. 1.) Panthers have been alternating wins and losses. Which means we are gonna win against Tampa twice and make the playoffs. 2.) No new injuries coming out of last night that I am aware of. We are very healthy compared to other teams and if we get Hunt back that would be amazing. 3.) Maybe that loss ticked them off enough to take it seriously and play disciplined. Put in the extra time because you are running out! 4.) We cannot afford to let up through the remainder of the year unless we win the next two and Tampa loses to MIA. I did not like idea of people resting. Just look what happened after the bye. 5.) Even if we do not make it to the dance, the guys are getting playoff experience right now. If we are close but just miss it, they can pack that feeling up and into next season. Maybe we can continue to retain critical pieces at an affordable rate if they want to run it back. 6.) We are set up better as far as salary cap/dead money next year compared to the last several years. Tillis and Morgan will get to play some. 7.) ATL is unsettled at QB position and will have a new coach. TB may be at end of window. NO honestly seems like biggest problem to me but hopefully the salary cap situation there will continue to hamstring them. 8.) Our rookie class looked really good, should see a lot of production from them in Year 2. Year 3 of Morgan/Tillis should see us be able to fill the remaining holes. Next year is really the year we would be on schedule to do something.
  15. Oh please explain in detail what you mean This should be good
  16. I don't think it's so much blaming the loss on him for me as much as it's realizing at his very best he could only take us so far
  17. because canalas has to game plan around youngs flaws. Carolina cant run what they need to beat teams because young doesnt have the ability and physical traits to do that.
  18. Would you call him a super processor? It would be nice to have at least one of those in the organization.
  19. Just curious some posters think the loss falls on him. He had a 96 Qb rating and PFF has him rated with the second highest offensive grade just behind Coker. Production wise, the offense had 14 first downs. Dowdle had 16 carries getting a single first down. His long run was 8 yards. If you take out that one run, he averaged 2.6 yds/carry over the remaining 15. Hubbard got 3 first downs with 8 carries. Bryce had 10 first downs either through the air or with his legs. yet he gets the blame for the loss. Even with a 96 QB rating, being rated with the second best pff score and him accounting for over 70% of all the first downs, I keep seeing people argue he was the reason they lost. Curious.
  20. weeks ago I was pumping up the whole TE group... Defense-wise..... my god the middle of the field is WIIIIDDDDDEEEEE open for any TE-WR-RB....holy lee *** evero that massive hole needs fixing besides biltzing both ILB or morehrig!!!
  21. This is going to be such a heel thing to say but I am so happy John Cena is gone (or at least that is what they want you to believe). For the past year, I have been listening to this bullshit retirement tour and I am sorry but why the hell does Cena gets a proper send off but guys like Stone Cold, HHH, Shawn Michaels, Brett Hart, etc do not? I get so sick and tired of hearing he is the GOAT when I can name 10 guys ahead of him that deserves that honor more than him. He was the greatest of that generation but not of all time... I am sorry... I just don't see it. Hate on me all you want.
  22. The hell happened to our Te's...I gigured Evans would get a biggercroke coming off the bye week? Sanders?? He might need to put that weight back on. He's been about as underwhelming as Wonnum. And Tremble looks nothing like he used to btw. Xavier in the top 5? Nah...Moton in the top 5? Pretty sure I saw him getting beat multiple times 3rd/4th qtr.
