  1. Past hour
  2. That draft might be best off just forgotten. Let’s hope they can repeat or at least come close to repeating this year’s draft. Difference being less urgency to help the QB than in 2024, and both Canales and Morgan have been in place for the whole year again and that that was a factor in last year’s improved results. Early results anyway.
  3. Somewhat more detail, or perspective. Lavar Arrington talked about it today on his radio show. The number he was repeating was 26 million, and this has all come about due to missed team meetings and activities. He was not aware how the team could take guaranteed money away. TJ Houshmandzadeh, a co-host on the show, said teams absolutely can if they can show a player is not meeting their contractual obligations. Plaxico Burress, the other co-host, couldn't understand why he wouldn't fight for the money, that he just didn't care about 26 million, and it didn't make much sense. All 3 said they would happily go sit in meetings for him and be great tutors for 26 million. They also predicted this was a precursor to cutting him, and him going straight to the Commanders to play with Daniels. FWIW, 3 former players, but none had any particularly special or privileged insight into the situation.
  4. He's just a backup caliber player. Nothing wrong with that. I'd love to have him as a second stringer. Maybe one day our FO will agree that the LB corps is due a big upgrade.
  5. Yeah another outlet talking about regression and how overall the panthers passing offense is anemic Though the Panthers’ pass game went berserk in Week 11 against a Falcons defense that has apparently given up on the 2025 season, they didn’t produce a ton of air yards. Their 293 air yards ranks 12th on the week. It was well above their season average but likely more an illusion than a sign of things to come. Carolina has the league’s second lowest pass rate over expected this season. Since Week 5 they are a rather stunning nine percent below their expected pass rate, by far the lowest in the NFL. I don’t think any Carolina pass catchers are reliable outside of Tetairoa McMillan. I’m probably not breaking any news there. https://www.nbcsports.com/fantasy/football/news/bryce-young-chris-olave-chase-brown-headline-week-12s-regression-files
  6. I would bet they pushed the ankle hard and it wasn’t happy the next day.
  7. 49ers 38 Panthers 10 I have a significant amount of hatred for the 49ers but they are immensely more talented(even though they are banged up), the gulf between the coaching staff quality is one of the largest imaginable and they will be at home. I think this is just one of those bad matchups for us. If we can't ball control early and force TO's, this is gonna get out of hand quickly.
  8. Putting aside rather having him than Wallace ( I don't disagree ), I think the last few weeks before his injury it looked like Wallace was starting to put it together. He was getting TFLs, sacks, PDs, etc. I don't think he will ever be a star for us, though.
  9. Mayes being out is brutal. That's a downgrade at OC and a downgrade at OG in one move. The LB's being out is completely irrelevant. Wallace and Rozeboom are both terrible. If anything, let some of these other bums get some reps.
  10. 100%. I wish we had gotten one of those high level MLB's in the 2nd or 3rd. Oh well, the draft results don't look too awful so far. They do seem to have him on a snap count of sorts. Not sure if that is intentional or just that he isn't a starter. TBH, in hindsight I would have much rather gambled on him than Wallace. Wallace appears to be quickly descending towards being a special teams guy, while at least Wilson can play at a high level for spurts of time. Even if he got injured in his rookie deal, probably would end up better off than we have with Wallace.
  11. Maybe. They have the worst pass rush in the league
  12. Godwin is due to return in the near future, so that passing attack will get a big boost once he shakes the rust off.
  13. I mean, I can't imagine he would be but that may not factor in when it comes down to it. Yeah, that's the price/situation aspect. On the surface, we would have a very potent offense immediately. Tmac, Aiyuk, Coker and whomever comes out of the group of XL/Tremayne/Horn Jr. That's a hell of a WR Corps. I don't think it will happen nor do I think it's likely to happen but I wouldn't be upset about it if it comes at a low cost and an easy out if things don't pan out.
  14. two torn ACLs in college he's playing on borrowed time
  15. Damn, Mays was a full participant on Friday so I was hopeful...
  16. Corbett to be center Trevin Wallace out Basically a trio of no names at lb No update on Rozeboom Final update tomorrow
  17. If you read the article I dont know how or why you would want anything to do with him.
  18. Today
  19. Just from history I’ve never seen a situation like this work out positively for the player. Do not want.
  20. The blue is ok but none of the other alts tops the black and silver original
  21. CMC out of the backfield running routes against Rozeboom makes me sick but I really dont expect him to gash us on the ground. Hes still a premier route runner and does damage YAC but hes having a very down year running the ball. And Trent Williams also looks like he’s finally lost a step
  22. Sounds like he's disgruntled about something. Do we need him? I think not, unless he's cheap.
