Of course. Why would any receiver who has the ability not be elusive and avoid the tackle? You're trying to make it seem like he's some week receiver that gets touched by an arm and goes down and struggles to make contested catches, but that's simply not the case. Is he more elusive than strong? Of course. But the fact is that most receivers aren't going to have a bunch of highlights breaking tackles. Steve Smith is not the norm, but even Concepcion has a few highlights, including where he wouldn't go down and basically dragged a defender in the end zone.

QB Diego Pavia visiting the Panthers today

Wouldn't mind as a UDFA - Today

I feel the same. OK, tell me which OT is on your radar if you were the GM--
-
I can agree with this statement if you really like the OT who is available. The fact that they are "rare" (along with QB, Edge) positions to find should also play into it. If we have a roster that allows for BPA, you should (as you say) consider the difficulty it takes to find a replacement. Furthermore, you don't want a rookie playing LT--regardless of who it is. All that to demonstrate how I get the decision to draft a T if they like the player and have a need that could be worse than I understand right now. Morgan signed a starting LT and a swing T in free agency. He signed a starting Center. We also need a "Z" WR, DT, S, TE and LB. Of those, we need 3 starters for 2026 (Z-WR, LB, S) and 2 rotational players (DT, and TE). C and OT are the only players who, if we draft them, are likely to sit and not start or work into a rotation. The Panthers seem to be in "Win Now" mode. For that reason, I do not see OT or C being drafted until the last day.

Predict, no. But that monstrosity of a knee brace has scared me since Moton went with it as standard part of his equipment.. And his age is not helping him. He just worries me. Like riding on bald tires.
-
I would think the surgeon would have a prognosis about recovery time and opine on the success of the surgery. As for Moton, we have been monitoring his knee for some time. How is it too early? You are collecting as much information as possible to develop a strategy on the draft. Nobody can predict anything ever--I think you misunderstood my comment--not sure I was as clear as I needed to be.

It would be a great joke to play on us.

Biggest bust for every draft since 2000.

LOL! I still would've loved to have seen if Johnny Manziel could've transitioned to the NFL with an actual head on his shoulders. Johnny Football didn't translate. We know that. But could that skill set with a sober, logical mindset and NFL QB work ethic have worked? I don't think we ever got to find out because he was a complete knucklehead and never gave himself a chance to pan out. -

Not sure heβs big enough to fill Bryceβs shoes if Bryce goes down

Hear me out we need a young guy to compete. Would yall rather have just Pickett? If we get Pavia as a UDFA we would be very lucky.

Well, one thing is true... We clearly want to walk away from the draft/undrafted free agency with a guy we believe we can develop. This is the 3rd top 30 visit with a QB and the 4th notable visit with one. -
Can he play C?
