I don’t think he really is not that smart and some people are really bad speaking in public and especially off the cuff. A smart org would have had someone try and prepare him for the ambush questions, like in ‘Bull Durham’. And he is better than he is playing this year I don’t know what his deal is. No we're not. This is not a roster where you look at it and think "man that needs to be blown up and you need to start again". For starters we don't have anything to trade. Yes you could ship out Brown, Horn, T-Mac - but you're getting pennies on the dollar for the first two because they're already on their expensive second contracts. Who else are you trading? Not Lewis or Hunt, that's for sure - then your 'rebuilding' team is stuck with two 30 year old OGs. For me the approach is simple - whatever methodology you followed for the 2025 Draft, continue doing that and have patience. There are some good players here - we just have zero depth - and for the love of god find a functional NFL QB to give everyone a chance.

I am always accused of hating him, but I think that s rough right there. Unless he gets benched and asks for his release, I don’t see the need to do that. And if we do have the balls to cut bait and bench him for good that is the way he should leave, on his request. I just want him off the field so I can maybe enjoy watching a game. He has been horrible for my viewing experience. I really do think he brings the team down because they know they are starting out handicapped.

I feel for the man. This might have been a job too big for him. Fixing Bryce, and then getting this organization back right is a tall task. I know he’s gotta be dealing with Tepper, and Tep looks like a man that comes down hard and has a sharp tongue. I know he dreads those one on ones. Probably on a PIP like us corporate folks go through, and if you’re on that, it’s only a matter of time before the hammer comes. If Teppers plan was to move the team, they’d probably be doing historically well. He can’t do anything right. The one time he tried to tank was the most successful stretch under his ownership.
