  1. Past hour
  2. Derek Henry is 31 and still lighting it up. It's not as if he's had a ton of wear and tear, last season was his first time getting significant snaps. A 2 or 3 year deal shouldnt break the bank, what do you think other teams will be signing him for?
  3. The fact we're relegated to investing this much capital and thought into the RB position while having one of the worst QB rooms in the league two years in a row is complete and utter malpractice.
  4. Yep, because when Young plays like ha is a 5th round flier you can’t have someone that the fans will be calling for sitting there ready.
  5. Trade the lesser back not the one at the top of the league in statss. Yes let's gamble if the unproven Brooks who had major ACL tear in college had another one in just his 3rd game in the NFL. That's the Panthers I've come to know over the last seasons.
  6. We know why they didn't take it seriously because you cant bring anybody that's gone put any kind of pressure on bryce. I.E. Younger, athletic, and more talented.
  7. They aren’t doing a 3rd for a RB rental. A 4th is great value this point in the season.
  8. You want them to sign a 28 year old RB to pair with the 27 year old one we just signed? Remember people wanted Foreman paid with us and he disappeared from the league a year later. Don’t sign older RBs, especially in a contract year. We probably shouldn’t have signed Chuba either as we are already looking at the next RB to sign.
  9. I wouldn't trade Chuba until Rico has signed to a contract . Heaven forbid we trade Chuba and Rico walks at the end of the season .
  10. That is my thought. If you are a young guy or emerge with some really good plays in rotation, what is your morale when you see a guy like Rico do transcendent stuff and get relegated to rotational carries.
  11. sure would, after we paid chubba, traded up for brooks and used another 4rth for TE. Sure why not spend more resources on another RB?
  12. Probably not but the pick will likely be in the early 60s and their RBs have honestly been terrible for years now, I think Dowdle would fit great in that offense and give their already strong passing offense a complimentary running game.
  13. If I was in KC, NE shoes I would think about it. He would be legit weapon for either
  14. If this team lets Rico walk without trying to sign him if he continues to ball out and rolls with Chuba 2 and 3 yards amd a cloud of dust next season it would be on brand for them.
  15. I don’t think his production is sustainable with a banged up OL and better defenses on the horizon. Like I said his value will never be higher. So I’m taking that into consideration along with the drop off in value from Rico vs a healthy Chuba/ETN.
  16. It's also unconscionably inconsistent to be seeking to trade players like Dowdle who have been a much needed jolt of life to the team while having virtually no standards for your QB's. I cannot state that enough. Incompetence beyond words.
  17. if you look at the numbers going back to last year when he started for Dallas the last part of the season Rico has been one of the most efficient rushers in the league. I dont believe this claim by the way, Canales just hinted in the presser this week they're going to be giving Dowdle a bigger role in the offense.
  18. Dalton should already have been released. What's the incentive for other players on the roster that don't have fat contracts to care to play above standards if he can play like one of the worst QB's in the league and still be employed here? He's already 38 years old. My goodness they're acting like this guy is a hall of famer instead of a guy who couldn't even win a single playoff game in his entire career.
  19. If you think a 4th round pick is worth more than Dowdle's production this year then we just aren't going to agree. That's crazy to me. Especially given the context around the situation with the team.
  20. No one is giving a 3rd for a RB rental for half a season. So your other option is letting him walk for nothing next year.
  21. Getting value for a RB that was always a one year rental is smart. He turns 28 before next year and is in a contract year. It’s not like we have no depth behind him. Chuba was a bogus holding call from XL away from having a solid game and we need to see what we have in ETN. Our OL is made for run blocking and Rico feasted on some terrible defenses. He played great and his value will never be higher. Selling high is not short sighted IMO. Especially on a RB who won’t be here next year.
  22. As far as the OP goes I need to see better sources than some "trust me" level rando sports Twitter account. All these accounts have checkmarks since the new owner fully monetized the platform. It's a free for all in terms of spreading misinformation.
  23. I dont think a random twitter account constitutes as a "Report". But juan you be you brother
