The play just looked off the entire time. Sanders literally makes a b-line to try and block one of the 49ers guys and then last second switches it to a go route to the back corner of the end zone. Now that I have watched it a few more times, I'm starting to think it was designed for Chuba to pass it. Otherwise, I have no idea why Sanders would do that. Regardless, calling a stupid ass play like that on 3rd and goal is exactly why we struggle to score...

I don’t keep up, had no idea about flipping off fans.

He fits the profile for me. For taking a shot. We aren’t talking 1st round.
-
We are playing the 49ers wildcard weekend and we are going to run it down their throats. Also the bucs are losing this weekend to the cardinals so we only have to and only will beat the saints and then bucs twice and finish 9-8
-
just at the point to see one of the players on the team come out and say that the team is trash
-
Remember Sunday afternoon? Don't get mad if tonight looks no different.
-
I don't even want him as a backup. He is not playing good football at all and his answer to that has been flipping off his own fans while averaging $37.5 million per season.

J Person article on Canales and game plan and Rico
ColumbusCounty replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Aiight Ima admit, I didn't watch the game...just tuned in every now n then... My biggest takeaway from that article: Rico only had 6 carries and Chubba 3 ?!?!? Please tell me that's a typo!!!! 9 carries for the night??... if so, that's a fireable offense. That's actually inexcusable. -
I tend to agree if it is as the starter.
-
I’d love to draft him in later rounds if he declares

I would agree but he has about a half capable QB to deal with. That offense has to be limited. I can’t imagine what he had to pull off the table. Just play action alone, big challenge. -

It’ll be extremely hard to bring an elite coach into this dumpster fire, not to mention having to deal with the Teppers. So yeah, fix the QB problem and then deal with coaching if need be. -

Somebody get the Jim Mora gif ready in 3….2…1…. For those of you who care, the path to the playoffs is really clear cut and Sundays game against the Rams nor Tampas games against the cupcakes they have remaining factor in really at all. In all likelihood the only way the Panthers are playing in the second week of January is if they win the division. The loss to the niners did a lot of damage to any wildcard hopes they may have. The formula to win the division is pretty simple. After the bye week, if Carolina wins their final four games (at NO, vs Tampa, vs Seattle, and at Tampa) they are NFC South Champs. In that scenario, they finish 10-7 and the Bucs best possible finish would be 10-7 as well. The Panthers would win a tiebreaker with a 5-1 division record. Ironically, the late season bye comes at a perfect time. Get healthy and try and win four in a row. With Canales outsmarting himself at every turn and Bryce putting up QB numbers not seen since leather helmets were worn, the thought of winning four in a row seems almost impossible, but, we at least go into December in the hunt.
-
They are definitely out there condemning Canales and absolving Young. Which, condemn Canales if you want but then leave Young responsibility free? Nah, that is just Bryce fanning.
-
He should. And I know what he looked like this year. But even if he is an AR type of level project, he has legit tools; you might be able to get him in a much more reasonable slot where you could for sure afford to work with him a couple of years before running him out there. edit: I mean, if he doesn’t stay in school.
-
If Dave Canales suggests going after Geno Smith he should be fired on the spot.

I’m trying to figure out if he is a solid OC, his game plan and play calling suck, that’s what a good OC is supposed implement week in and week out. I’m just not seeing it. -

Don't worry guys. We will Sunday. I'm guessing by 7 points. -
Not singling you out, someone else said this too. Meant to raise this earlier Does the OL coach have a say in who he wants to sub in? I know who has authority to overrule but wouldn’t they consensus this stuff? They have a run game coordinator, and OL coach an OC and Canales. Wouldn’t Canales ask opinions? “Coach Gilbert, who looks good for G?”
-
Haven’t heard yet, with NIL I wouldn’t be shocked if he stayed in school for another year.
-
I said this after the falcons game. He's a decent dome quarterback. Below average in an environment like Charlotte and dog poo everywhere else
-
Winston or Macaroni jones and Drew Allar in the 3rd or 4th
-
Football, as in life, people see what they want to see.
-
It’s hard to believe that they are watching the same game that we are.
-
Canales also keeps starting Zavala when Curhan is obviously better
