  1. I’m done with this team if we take Pickett at #6. That would be my 11, trade down or top 3 OT’s will get a 0-3 reaction.
  2. I’m starting to get the feeling they’re leaning toward Evan Neal. 2019 they drafted Josh Allen and last year they grabbed Chaisson, which given each guy was drafted by a different regime, but Allen has been good and Chaisson is now in his 2nd year. On the offensive line they’re working with a meh Cam Robinson and awful Taylor plus they just lost Norwell at LG. They just drafted Trevor Lawrence, maybe they go for protection over BPA?
  3. Cross has the best feet by far to play LT. Ikem, while a mauler, is very unpolished in pass protection. Neal is in the middle but lacks the mean streak you’d think a guy his size would have. Cross, Neal and then Ikem for me.
  4. This is what I’m hoping for too, but I think this is what the front office wants. 1. Malik Willis at #6 (I think he’ll go #2 to Detroit or in a trade up to #5 by another team). 2. Trade back…..no takers? 3. Neal/Cross/Walker/Ikem/Pickett/Gardner/Stingley/Thibodeaux (In that order) They really want a trade back, I still think they want a QB, but Willis is the only viable option at #6 unless they are willing to commit seppuku with Pickett. My gut tells me we trade back, even if we lose a little on the value chart. I also think we’ll take a QB, whether with the trade down 1st or the other trade pick we get.
  5. So we’ll draft slow release, smol hands, old Kenny Pickett at #6 just because he’ll save Rhule’s job with an 8-9 season and he recruited him.
  6. Him and Wyatt are the real stars in the Georgia front 7. We also did meet with Trayvon Walker, think he’ll be the surprise #1 overall pick who knows? The worst feeling will be if Hutch, Walker, Willis, Thibodeaux and Gardner go and all 3 OT’s are on the board and we take Pickett at #6.
  7. All this is to scare the NYG into not taking an OT or not trade down.
  8. Oh boy, an away game in Charlotte against the Steelers!
  9. It’s because we are really bad at broadcasting our target players. We always have gaping holes that make guessing our targets pretty easy, but we have a lot of leaks from the front office.
  10. I figure it’s impossible to fix everything, really love Zion Johnson and Muma, maybe swap Oenning for Jermaine Johnson.
  11. I hope so. I just don’t want this to be grooming the fan base for a massive reach and the regime patting themselves on the back for getting a “franchise” QB at #6 and passing off that we’ll move BC to LT, after his arms were magically no longer a problem, and grabbing a couple developmental offensive lineman.
  12. Jesus Christ, we are taking Kenny Pickett at #6.
  13. I think Tepper was smart enough not to fall further into the trap. I honestly wonder if RH thought the Panthers would just foot the agreed upon $225 million bond money? This reeks of council members stuffing their pockets.
  14. Honestly the city council thought they could just offer a package to Tepper to get the facility, get the kick backs from the project, and then use the sunk coat fallacy to get the Panthers to finish construction. I know the cool flavor of ice cream is to hate everything billionaire and Tepper but who in their right mind thought Rock Hill, a population of 73k could support a $225 million bond package? Blame goes both ways, Panthers should’ve done way more homework on Rock Hill and their actual willingness to pay that amount and Rock Hill council members should take some of the “personal financial responsibility” and resign as well as have their financial records sifted through by an impartial Federal investigator. This whole thing is ridiculous, they should’ve just built the facility in Charlotte.
  15. Every time he defends a pass the announcer says “Another catch deClined by this Panthers secondary.”
  16. I call this the in Zappe we trust, fix everything else.
  17. With all that money Tepper has can’t he just force the Chiefs to give us Mahommes?
  18. To be fair last years draft was vastly superior but in hindsight Fields + Gardner or Stingley is light years ahead of Willis or Pickett and a wash with Horn. That being said Slater was my crush last year so we’d still be in the same boat with no QB.
  19. I’ve gone though an uncomfortable amount of tape on these QB’s, at least 4 full games of each prospect (Willis, Pickett, Strong, Ridder, Howell, Corral) plus interviews, and they all suck in their own way. This is the worst group of players I’ve ever seen, I wouldn’t take 1 in the 1st round. Willis will likely go first based solely on projection, but he can’t actually read defenses or progress past his first read. He’s got a cannon for an arm and legs but he’s a very developmental prospect (2 years minimum riding the bench learning). The only guy I like is Carson Strong if we can nab him with a 2nd if we trade down from #6. I’m still holding out hope Sam Darnold has just been pretending he sucks and will actually play this year…
  20. The pick will be Malik Willis if he’s there at #6. Jimmy G is the backup plan.
  21. Nightmare: We trade any substantial draft capital for Jimmy G or Baker Mayfield. Draft Kenny Pickett at #6. Dream: Saints trade up to #5 for Pickett. Panthers trade back.
