  1. Or the fact is Rhule's a college coach and can't handle a complex offense so he's hired simplistic offensive coordinators
  2. How many teams can you look at that have multiple elite players at skill positions on offense? Seriously, go make me a list. An offense with an elite RB/WR like CMC, a damn good WR in Moore, a deep threat like Anderson, and supporting WRs like Higgins and Shi Smith should be good enough to move an offense. That’s about as good a pass catching group as there is in the NFL save for a few exceptions. The TE group is good enough. If you look around the NFL, there aren’t that many “elite” pass catching TEs anymore. We were spoiled having Greg Olsen, but you don’t need a guy like that to have a productive offense. Thomas and Tremble can make enough plays. Lot of teams are expecting TEs to block more than pass catch these days. The offensive line is still a question mark but deeper and more talented than it has been in years past. At least there’s some depth and they finally addressed the LT position (Icky will develop into a good player) There are two things currently holding the offense back. Ben McAdoo’s archaic playcalling, and Baker Mayfield. It absolutely isn’t talent around the QB.
  3. When you see the fans that are actually still attending the games and over half of them are still wearing Kuechly and Newton jerseys, you know it’s bad times.
  4. It’s not though. The offense is stacked at all positions. There’s depth where there hasn’t been before. The offensive line was “rebuilt”. Mayfield isn’t good though. The defense is another story. The defensive line is too small. The linebackers are too small. The secondary has to run support. The roster has talent. This isn’t a 2008 Lions situation. But it’s not like this is the Bills roster.
  5. This 100%. If Chuba had done that on Bill Belichick’s team, he wouldn’t see the field again until Week 10
  6. From a fan perspective there used to be a large group of Panthers supporters I would get together with to watch games sometimes. Many of those fans have stopped caring about the Panthers all together due to the poor performance of the team. It’s not worth making plans around the team when they are terrible. All the new fans the Cam Newton era brought to the franchise are leaving it as fast as they came.
  7. No, it would need to be a licensed electrician. I might just do it myself because there's already a conduit and line run to the shed. We had our electrical panel upgraded/brought up to code back in June and the electrician pre-ran a conduit and line to the shed location.
  8. Electrical might need a permit. Depending on who I hire.
  9. I didn’t need a permit for this. I just needed to be 5ft from the rear and side property lines, be less than 15ft tall, not have any plumbing, etc. https://www.austintexas.gov/permittingatx/projects/shed/define I could have done a slab. Just the fact it was on such a huge slope made me think a slab would crack eventually.
  10. I see your Billy Zane and I raise you a fat Billy Zane
  11. Panthers are the worst team in the NFL. Might not be close.
  12. I’m not going to knock Fitterer when the players he’s drafted are being ruined by a college coaching staff.
  13. I doubt any player on the Panthers cares about Matt Rhule as much as any random player on the Lions cares about Dan Campbell.
  14. Too expensive. It was about half the cost to do crushed granite
  15. Joe Brady wasn’t ready to be an NFL offensive coordinator. He’s exactly where he needs to be at this point in his career in Buffalo. He will be a successful head coach one day.
  16. Atlanta is better by the eye test than the Panthers. They hung tough with the Rams in LA and almost stole that game in the 4th quarter. Let that sink in.
  17. There’s 0 reason to fire Rhule now. The entire staff is his guys save for like 3 or 4 coaches. Firing him achieves nothing. The whole staff is unqualified to be coaching an NFL team.
  18. It’s everything. The team is the most dysfunctional one in the NFL this season
  19. Get ready for the press conferences to get even more hilarious as the team drops to 0-3, 0-4, 0-5….
  20. I’d like to get Sean Payton. I hate him for all his success in New Orleans and his beyond smarmy attitude, but he could be OUR pill popping asshole. If not him, I’d like to have an up and coming NFL coordinator. Demeco Ryans or Byron Leftwich are at the top of my list. Ken Dorsey should get an interview but I’m not sure he’s ready.
  21. Worked for the Dolphins and Dan Campbell in 2015
