  1. In 2023 they currently have 5m in cap space because of all the cans kicked down the road. 2024 it's over 130m
  2. any casual fan could do his job, he's just a weird looking dude who is easy to make fun of at this point
  3. It's just sad times for Panthers fans when Sam Darnold is the starting QB and the prospects are a bunch of guys who probably won't last more than their rookie contracts in the NFL. Maybe one or two of the prospects this year end up being long term backups.
  4. I remember the story of when Shannon Sharpe kept reciting Derrick Thomas's girlfriend's phone number to him and caused him to get 3 personal fouls on one drive. Sharpe has one of the biggest mouths in NFL history both physically and in trash talk LOL And I mean we all know Steve Smith is one of the absolute legends of trash talk. He gave us Ice Up Son, one of the greatest post game throwdowns of all time.
  5. never said I wanted to trade for him, but Mayfield is definitely going to have to be moved
  6. Mayfield has to go somewhere. Garropolo, I could see him staying in San Francisco and maybe even being the starter next season. Unless the 49ers got a solid return for Jimmy G I didn't see them trading him with an unproven young QB like Lance behind him.
  7. Yea @glenwo2was shaped and molded by the Huddle. He is a model of what persistent attendance on the Huddle can do to a fan, and maybe even a person.
  8. well he would still be an NFL owner so probably some people would. To answer the question, I don't think there are really any good owners. I think there are only bad ones. A good owner is one who doesn't cause any problems for the team to operate.
  9. Nah none of you people actually live in Texas
  10. I think they know Darnold is garbage. They figured that out mid last season. Problem is they've botched all their other opportunities.
  11. None of the QB's in this draft class are worth the #6 overall pick. Let the Saints trade up and waste their draft capital. They are great at doing that. If the Panthers didn't think Mac Jones or Justin Fields were worth the #8 overall pick last year, and they think any of the QB's in the 2022 draft class are worth the #6 overall pick, everyone needs to be fired.
  12. Nope. It's absolutely going to happen. There's too much money in Austin/SA now. Freaking Elon Musk might own the team.
  13. No they aren’t. The majority are quickly becoming people from out of the region or state entirely.
  14. It will happen eventually, there are almost 6m people in the Austin/SA area. Texas has the second highest state population in the US. Florida has a lower population than Texas but has 3 teams.
  15. The Austin/San Antonio market would like a word.
  16. LT has been an issue for almost 10 years. This class has some of the best LT prospects in the last 10 years and the Panthers are in PRIME position to get one of them. They’d be foolish to pass one up in a weak ass QB draft.
  17. cherry picked stats are so fun
  18. I know a couple of the guys in Black Pumas who were playing the same show as Foo Fighters were in Colombia that night. They had to announce the Foo Fighters weren't playing and that they were playing longer. Horrible.
  19. I’m arguing that Darnold was seen as a talented QB in a bad situation under Adam Gase just like Ryan Tannehill. There were other teams that were willing to take a chance on him thinking if he got put into a situation with better coaching and players around him he could be successful. It didn’t work out, but I don’t think it was a horrible decision. The Panthers just didn’t hedge their bet.
  20. If Mike Shanahan’s post-Elway Broncos are any indication, Kyle isn’t too great at QB evaluation either. But who knows, Lance hasn’t even had a real shot yet.
