  1. It's not. Signing a reject G on day one of FA is a bonehead move. It's honestly a glorified Tyler Larsen replacement.
  2. Great info on him with the Vikings. https://www.ganggreennation.com/2020/12/4/22149126/scouting-jets-offensive-lineman-pat-elflein
  3. I mean sh*t, this guy was cut from the Vikings, the team he was drafted by. MID SEASON. WTF are we doing signing this guy. Same old same old. The Panthers continue to make dumb moves.
  4. There aren't a lot of names on that list I expect to be back. Armah, Elder, Larsen, Miller, and maaaaybe Samuel are the most notable ones I could see being re-signed.
  5. I always thought the Panthers would sign Robby Anderson last offseason because of his Matt Rhule connection, but he was one of the last players signed if I remember correctly
  6. I expect a lot of mid-range FA signings. No big splashes. Biggest FA signing might be Shaqill Griffin if his price isn't nuts.
  7. He’s going to be a star and I hope it’s for the Panthers
  8. Nah what he really loves is being scammed by low brow jewelers and bitching about it later
  9. I do see them signing a vet WR to replace Samuel, a cheaper one. Keelan Cole from the Jags comes to mind.
  10. He’s a fraction of the players that Luke and TD were in their primes. Shaq is an above-average LB who got to play with legends so he gets lumped with good players by proxy.
  11. Deshaun for Teddy and the good vibes from the TD and Olsen retirement. We have a deal
  12. Nah that’s extremely harsh. Mac can sling the ball. He is physically limited like Teddy but with a better arm.
  13. I didn’t hear it brought up with Fitterer but I believe it was brought up with Rhule
  14. Maybe. Maybe there’s more conversations. What I gleaned was that trading Teddy is definitely on the table.
  15. 1) Fitterer confirmed that the team did have a conversation with another team about trading Teddy Bridgewater. He also said "Teddy is our QB" and a bunch of other nice things about him, that he's very professional and he's been through a lot. Also said he's had some open and honest conversations with him. 2) Was asked about the LT position, Fitterer mentioned Scott, Little, and Daley. He also brought up getting a LT in the draft. He didn't mention Russell Okung. Doubt Okung is back next season. 3) Mentioned Luke is involved in the free agency scouting process. Was great to hear, love that Luke is still involved with the team. 4) Panthers are going nickel and dime store shopping in Free Agency again ala the Dave Gettleman era. 5) Fitterer speaks like someone who has a good understanding of the roster so far, but I can't help but wonder how much of a figurehead he is since most of the front office is still intact aside from Hurney being gone.
  16. Fitterer didn't mention the 49ers specifically but he basically confirmed that this is true. The Panthers had a conversation with them about trading Teddy.
  17. they are clearly trying to drive up his value to trade him maybe the team might behind all these weird pseudo-Teddy troll twitter accounts
  18. Fitterer was asked about the LT position and if Okung would be back, didn't mention him by name and mentioned Scott, Little, and Daley. Also mentioned looking at the draft for LT. Doubt Okung is back.
  19. Fitterer mentioned that Luke is involved in the free agency process building their board of needs. So glad he's working with the team.
  20. Fitterer confirmed they tried to trade Teddy
  21. Too many other holes on the roster to bring him back.
  22. this is true he almost died. doesn't impact if he's good at scouting QBs tho although he is more tolerable to listen to than his dad
