I don’t like resting starters on a team with a bunch of young players that have accomplished literally nothing at the NFL level. There’s maybe 2-3 players on the team that are veterans that came from other teams that can rest. But the young guys need playing time. Last year was different because none of the teams had a preseason. Now everyone is getting one again. I hope these practices get the team ready like a game would.

Was Funchess ever good? He had a nice stretch of games in 2017 but otherwise he was always inconsistent.

I think Cam gets in on his rushing statistics. He had rushing TD numbers that were greater than the best RB's of his era.

PJ would have been a great 3rd string option behind Darnold and a veteran or highly drafted rookie…..

Totally agree. But they aren’t playing him because they don’t have a plan B on the roster. Darnold gets hurt it’s season in the toilet.

If Jacob Eason and Sam Ehlinger looked good against this defense….it’s going to be a rough season. But hopefully it just speaks to how good Frank Reich is as a coach though.

No mention of how the colts offense did against the Panthers defense? Because with the garbage the Colts have at QB I bet the Panthers D looked decent at least.
