At least Deion recognizes where his place is. He could be an all time great college head coach. Matt Rhule didn’t understand that.
-
Eh not really. Last season the team that traded for him was getting 1.5 seasons out of him before a new contract was needed. Now it’s only roughly 3/4 a season. That time was valuable.

And don’t forget the Panthers weren’t winning many games in Cam’s rookie season but it got them Luke Kuechly
-
I was saying the same thing just yesterday myself.

Draft Ewers and Worthy = profit

I’m so f*cking sick of everyone saying “Bryce needs playmakers” #1, he’s the first overall pick in the draft. He’s supposed to BE the playmaker. Cam Newton was also a #1 overall pick, a player WORTHY of that selection because he was a true playmaker. You take a QB that needs “playmakers” to be successful in the 2nd round. #2, these skill players aren’t nobodies. Thielen has been an extremely productive WR in the NFL. Chark is productive when healthy and to my knowledge didn’t even have a catch tonight. Miles Sanders has been productive in some very good offenses and has his preferred position coach with him. Hayden Hurst was a first round pick and has been a moderately productive TE in the NFL. #3, this coaching staff was supposed to be “all star” level and should be getting more out of the offense. Instead it looks worse than Ben McAdoo calling plays with a paper bag on his head. Maybe there are too many cooks in the kitchen to be successful. Maybe the Panthers are just cursed. Either way if another person says “Bryce Young needs playmakers” you’re just not right.

Sucks for Shaq. Wrong move re-signing him over Bradberry though
-
lol they’re playing the mo bamba song let’s go get Quinn Ewers next season
-
It only took the Saints defense giving up and realizing the game was probably over to give the offense life lol
-
The Panthers have to draft a QB every season until they find someone
-
Too bad Bryce wasted that TO because he was a little tired after that scramble he had earlier
-
Gotta try to make a deal to get one of the 2024 QB prospects. It’s a loaded class.

As a GM, what is Scott Fitterer good at?

My guy did you miss the gigantic thread I made about this same topic yesterday that is still on the front page? https://www.carolinahuddle.com/topic/192575-what-has-scott-fitterer-done-right/ -
F*cking trade him. It was so obvious what a bad decision it was to turn down that Rams trade. Now they don’t want to pay him after turning that down? Is this team run by people with an IQ under 70?
-
He’s low key going to be a very good QB. Coached by Sarkisian in a pro style offense will be ready to play
-
Nah I’ll see you in 2026 when we draft first overall and get Arch Manning and start a new dynasty
-
Stadium is going to be empty the rest of the season.
-
The only constant in life is change except the Panthers will always be an embarrassing sack of trash

How did this offense look better with Wilks and Darnold?
hepcat replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
Darnold for all his faults had an NFL caliber arm. When he played controlled football behind a solid run game, he could move the football. It wasn’t a Super Bowl winning formula but it was at least respectable. Im all in on Evero as DC though. My guy is making lemonade out of lemons over there -
The #3 team in the country
-
Good almighty Christ this offense is pathetic
-
Lol ball wasn’t even catchable the refs bailing these losers out
-
Then he broke his back like 2 plays later
-
We have to call a timeout because little Bryce is tired after that little run
