  1. he's still in the protocol as far as everyone knows, i'd say it's like 80% certain he's not playing this week.
  2. offense needs him back but I'm skeptical he plays
  3. lol the Packers already cut him, he's done
  4. The Patriots have a lot of similarities to the Panthers in stats and roster. Each team’s pass defense is better than the run defense. They both have young QBs that struggle with turnovers at times. They both rely on the running game to move the offense. Both teams have turned the ball over 12 times on offense this season. Where I give the edge to New England is obviously coaching experience but also talent on offense. Their offensive line is better than the Panthers and their weapons open up more things for Mac Jones in the passing game. The Panthers get an edge in pass rush and pressure rate. It’s a game that is going to come down to which team protects the football and gets their running game going. Having Darnold will make a big difference in at least showing the threat of passing the ball. The Patriots will stack the box if PJ plays and I expect him to turn the ball over 2-3 times. I see a close hard fought game if Darnold starts. If Darnold plays a clean game the Panthers have a good shot at a win if the pass rush can rattle Mac Jones and they limit their running game. I expect a comfortable Patriots win if Walker starts. This isn’t the Lions, PJ.
  5. Facts. It's was not a bad idea to trade for Darnold. No one can say it was, he has a lot of physical talent and was on a bad team with an idiot as a head coach. But, reclamation projects very rarely work out. That bet needed to be hedged with a rookie or a veteran backup. You'd think a hedge fund manager would understand that!
  6. This is prep for starting PJ next week, damn it
  7. sure does help playing a shitty team to make you feel better (cries in Giants game)
  8. It was a late throw and a good play by the defender. The announcers noted that DJ didn’t run his route full speed tipping off the defender it was a clear out route so he broke off and slammed Robbie
  9. Singing cam would FILL the stadium for the rest of the season. I guess it depends how bad Darnold’s concussion is. PJ Walker ain’t taking this team anywhere. Cam? It’s possible.
  10. I was busy with Halloween stuff earlier this evening but I really don’t have much to say right now. Glad they won. But last week’s loss really took it out of me. This team isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
  11. The falcons suck at run defense. But I hope this trend continues
  12. I couldn’t believe the trash they assembled in the QB room the last couple seasons
  13. I do think these refs have problems with the Panthers. No call on Darnold taking an arm to the head. Not resetting the play clock after the Falcons ran the ball to the other end of the field on an incomplete pass causing a delay of game. Not a good look trying to sway the game.
  14. A Falcons player apparently threw a punch and no penalty was called. I saw Yetur Gross-Matos having his jersey pulled and dragged to the ground on a run play, no holding call. Meanwhile the Panthers are having ticky-tack holding and pass interference called on them. Very questionable yet again.
  15. Yea the 2010 team was much harder to watch IMO. The 2021 team is a closer image to the 2010 team. Decent defense with an awful, doesn’t belong in the NFL QB.
  16. The 2001 team was actually pretty competitive in most games. If I remember correctly they lost a few overtime games and several other 1 score games. That wasn’t as bad a team as even 2010.
