  1. This game feels so weird. I can’t imagine these games are fair.
  2. He lifted his shirt and showed his waistband as if he had a gun afterward
  3. Hahaha the NFL is so biased to the chiefs. Worthy scores, knee looked down before the ball crossed the goal line, no discussion about it, not reviewed, TD is good no big deal.
  4. Why are we so sure he’s gonna leave?
  5. He should 100% be a pro bowler this season, he’s literally the panthers offense
  6. Would have gotten a lot more pie posting this any of the last 5 years, team might finally be pulling themselves out of the doldrums
  7. I usually agree with you that losing is better at this point in the season but because the same coach and QB are coming back next year I’d rather them ride some momentum into next season and learn to win some close games.
  8. They were due for one of these close games to swing their way. It just so happened against the one team the Panthers seem to thoroughly own
  9. Did you see how miraculously one team seems to get all the calls and then all of a sudden it’s the other team? Vegas needs to cover the spread and the NFL profits.
  10. The penalties being called against the Panthers are exactly why these rules are created. They are normal football actions that can be used to make games more competitive and prevent losing franchises from wining games in favor of better teams
  11. Unless he has a Cam Newton level year where he goes undefeated and wins the national championship, has nothing left to prove in college, I see Manning probably starting for 2 years at Texas. But I wouldn't be shocked if he came out in 2026 either.
  12. I wouldn't mind if the team focused on building a dominant defense the next 2 offseasons unless they're in a position to draft Arch Manning (whose family might refuse to let him play for the Panthers but we'll discuss that if it was ever a realistic possibility of drafting him) The defense has been gutted and neglected since the all-defense draft of 2020, the only remaining player from that draft being Derrick Brown. I expect a defensive player taken with the inevitable top 10 pick the Panthers will have, probably a pass-rusher or defensive tackle, and hopefully following it up with a LB or S in the second round. This team has so many needs at almost every position, that although a blue chip player in the top of the first round seems like a great idea, it might be worth considering trading down some slots to accumulate picks later in the 2025 draft or in 2026. It's a damn shame Scott Fitterer was too stupid to trade Brian Burns to the Rams for 2 first round picks and a second round pick. The Panthers would be in a MUCH different situation right now if he had taken that trade. If I saw him on the street I'd seriously ask him why on god's green earth did you turn that trade down?
  13. Matt Rhule was not a good head coach full stop end of discussion
  14. Yea we're not going to pick Cotchery Caught It or Kasay doesn't kick it out of bounds and get a Superbowl ring?
  15. If they didn't have Penix waiting in the wings, it would be a shitshow. As it stands, just a run of the mill horrible contract decision. The Panthers have a long list of those.
  16. Tough to play a full season in your upper 30's especially since he's coming off a pretty serious injury. Falcons bet that Cousins had more good years left, lost, and hedged their bet with Penix.
  17. Getting a good RB in the second round isn't a steal, it's the average position to get a good RB if anything.
  18. They can’t reasonably fire a rookie head coach who was saddled with one of the worst first overall QBs of all time. And at times made said QB look decent to serviceable. If the team was 3-11 at this point next season, fire everyone.
  19. If anything you bench guys who you know won't be here next year, for contract reasons or age reasons (Clowney?) and see if there's any young guys who can stick around. Otherwise nothing to change. Roll Bryce out there and make him throw the ball.
  20. Bryce had a bad game. The fumbles are unacceptable and are the main reason Kyle Allen failed as a starter. I keep going back to how Bryce hasn’t shown me in any way that he’s better than Kyle Allen which is like, mystifying to me. Maybe he’s a little more mobile.
  21. Bryce is what, 4-22 as a starter? Improved recent play aside, it's not groundbreaking to say "he might not be the answer"
  22. He's going to be a part of the team for the foreseeable future that's all I gotta say. Steal as an UDFA.
  23. Under Jerry RIchardson, the identity was always clear (with the exception of George Seifert). Defense first, run the ball. Under David Tepper, I haven't been able to figure out who this team is trying to be. At any point. What is the identity? Are they an offensive team because of an offensive head coach now? Are they a running team or a passing team? Have they made any indication about who they are even trying to be? Dan Morgan said something about "needing more dogs" or something like that but they have no identity. To quote Andrew Carnegie, "As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say, I just watch what they do." What do the Panthers do? Lose football games. So I guess that's the identity.
  24. He earned a shot next year but 3-11 at this point next year and I’m on camp fire Bryce young out of the nfl
