  1. yeah man so this may come as a shock to you but when hometown fans are kind of sour on a player it’s generally indicative of how said player played.
  2. Hey man how are those Bryce young takes holding up
  3. So..the Oregon Reddit has a number of commenters who are happy for him but really stunned he went as high as he did.
  4. Great to hear, the rest of us do keep up. Don’t worry we’ll keep you filled in on what’s going on elsewhere.
  5. you don’t draft a guy for next season, you draft them for the next 5. I get it. but when they’re there it’s hard to pass up, especially if the guy you’re taking is more of a project.
  6. okay then we’ve found your issue, your method of evaluation is bad. a great coach and great QB play, especially if you’re supplementing with outside talent, is going to win you a lot of games, but you still need to draft well at least occasionally, that has a little tiny measure of importance for peak and sustained success. you’re talking to someone who has a far more reasonable measure of what constitutes a successful draft class than most of this board who expects too much-even then the Seahawks haven’t done a good job of clearing the pole.
  7. Yeah I mean so can the rest of us. They’re clearly big on taking players with really high athletic scores and traits potential. That’s fine, if you can bring out the ability in these players…and we’re still waiting on that dam to burst. It’s early yet and it just may but it’s definitely a gamble, it’s certainly an approach I endorse more on day 3 than day 2.
  8. yeah it’s nice to have a franchise QB, we’re talking about draft classes. You made the point that they’ve been a great drafting team over the past three years. Which players from those three years are you really high on?
  9. who specifically from last year’s class are you so high on
  10. i don’t think a 6’8” OT is a really good idea for us
  11. Yeah the Seattle influence has terrified me since fitterer got here
  12. I’m really trying not to pile on a consensus of criticizing the pick before I’ve seen the guy play, but it is frustrating to think we came out of last night without a player that will plug a gap from day 1. Those guys were available and we didn’t come away with any of them. now I feel like I’m asking a lot of this 4th round pick just to hopefully provide a guy who can compete for a starting spot while the 2nd and 3rd rounders develop.
  13. Round 4 is pretty wide open. Ivan Pace is a guy I’m looking at with the 5th round pick.
  14. I don’t think it’s about hitting on everyone, I think it’s about hitting on some and having a star on your hands. Some of them need to start working out real quick though.
  15. Ringo, Tyler Scott, Zach Kuntz are some names I’d be interested in
  16. Ringo or Simpson could feasibly come in and compete as starters. after that.. I feel like you’re moreso just looking for role/developmental players. Definitely some interior linemen there, more than likely, I suppose.
  17. There’s some real good players left.
  18. LaPorta started to get 1st round buzz as the draft got closer. mayer is fine but he’s a bit stiff and lumbering and these other guys have true weapon potential
  19. please let us experience this with Moose Muhammad III next year
  20. Musgrave moves a lot better than Mayer does. Wouldn’t be surprised if he goes first.
