This is why I left social media. I've also been a fan of this team from the beginning. I've learned to cope with the terribleness and roll with the punches with this franchise. They will make you crazy otherwise. Good post, though.

There's definitely a reality of being mediocre. It's not only the 1st round pick that's affected, but every pick in the following rounds. Terrible spot.

I completely agree. I like Wilks. Seems like a good guy and a decent coach...but we've had him as coach with Rivera and Fox. Time to move on.

Man I completely agree. The only other direction I would consider is DT and linebacker with the first two picks. All the qbs are projects.

I'm all in on Jalen Carter who is the best player in this class...but next coach is likely gonna chase a QB. If the new coach is Wilks, though, maybe he goes with best player as well.

Exactly how I feel about it. I think we can get a guy in the 2nd and coach him up (depending on who the coach is though)

I don't post much but have followed this site for 20 years. I really prefer we go best available which would be Anderson and draft a QB in the 2nd round. I personally believe all these QB's are developmental guys.

Totally agree. We have a top 5 defense and likely a decent running game with the additions made. Those two functions alone can win a lot of games.

Shoulda never brought Teddy in. Tepper should have owned the suckage and tanked this season. I mean, we kinda tanked anyway, but were competitive in doing so.
