Sam’s got a good chance of showing out. Seems like he was starting to put it together last year.

Greg Hardy and prime CJ were the last complete DE’s we’ve had.

The problem is that he just doesn’t have the physical tools to play within the game at any kind of confidence level. You can’t expect to audible every situation to perfection. And you can’t expect the team to be perfectly suited to his deficiencies at all times. Variables change and players get hurt. He does looks improved. You have admit that but I do wonder how many more leaps we can expect.

The refs rigged the game for Manning’s retirement party. I was terrified of that match up the two weeks before because I knew the league wouldn’t let us compete fairly.

I’d give him the season

I will say he looked a lot more comfortable and loose throwing the ball after those picks. He did have some nice throws after that. So maybe being afraid to make mistakes has been his issue. But still not enough to really make me excited at this point.
