I live out in the PNW so I have had the "pleasure" of listening to the ranting and raving about RW for years. I can say that when they were winning, people were more willing to tolerate his behavior. In the past few years before the trade to Denver though, fans were not so into this better than everyone else version. It really put a lot of fans off. They cheered for him because he was playing for the Hawks, but that's about it. By the end, they were ready for the drama train to crash somewhere else.

All depends on how the contract is written and the length. I wouldn't want to do a 5 or 6 year contract. Shorter term, I could see doing. Anything more than 3 years, I'm not really interested in.

Teddy B career is 90.5. Cam's is 85.2. Would you rather have Cam or T2G?

Kind of ironic I think that his Pro Bowl years weren't under the guy hosting the NFL rookie QB camp show on ESPN being heralded as a QB whisperer.

Would still make more sense than listening to a Rhule press conference.

Do we have the personnel to Run a 3-4?

My knees hurt looking at the size of this guy -
I'm pretty sure if you spelled it for him, his autocorrect brand would fix it

It's also a matter of trying to calculate where a player is rated by other teams. If Reid suspected that Mahomes was as special as he was, why only move to 10 instead of 1? Sometimes you win the gamble, sometimes you lose. It's all about maximizing value.

Marty Hurney 2.0 was a kick to the balls. That was kicking an already severely bruised set of twins

I'm not opposed but man, he always seems to be dealing with soft tissue injuries and that field we have just makes me cringe.

That looks like one serious hair helmet

Daniel Jeremiah Has us taking.....

I actually think it's wise to go OL every draft, but not necessarily in the 1st. I like the idea of constantly bringing in new IOL talent and constantly developing a backup swing tackle in the 2nd or 3rd if we have a spare comp lying around. It's very possible for injuries to take down 2 or 3 linemen a year, and that constant influx of youth and development is requirement for maintaining a strong offensive line. -

I was referring to what Jeremiah said. I agree with you about fans complaining about the state of our oline. -

As a general rule, that's true EXCEPT for last year. The only reason there's really concern at this point is the injuries to Corbett and BC. -

It would also depend on if we plan on keeping Erving or not as a backup tackle. As we've seen across the league though, having a tackle that can step in and play at a high level is a bit of a luxury but a necessity to an extent. I'm sure the Chiefs would have loved to have someone else, anyone else, playing against Tampa in the SB. Dallas plugged in Tyler Smith. I would prefer to address our QB situation if possible, or get QJ, or even trade down a few spots if we can add a 2nd and 3rd and still get the best fit for what we need. -
Agreed. It's all about how much do you trust the guys doing the evaluations. If you don't trust them and their abilities, why are they even in the building? As far as deals go, Fitts has made some good, some not so good. What part his and Morgan's evaluations played in player acquisition vs Rhule is unknown. I don't have an issue sending 3 1sts and a 2nd in return for the number 1, but to do so would mean that player is a 100% fit into what the team is trying to do and we're not trying to mold him into something else.

Unfortunately, too many RBs are producing from late rounds to pay $16m per year.

Robbie Anderson is now Chosen Anderson

He could very well have thought that Rhule would have been fired at the end of his first season as GM. There's only so many of these jobs available, and while I'm not positive, Fitt strikes me as the type of guy that can sniff out a bullshit artist. Get in the door, wait for the idiot to get fired after the season (it ended up being a 1.25), then move on to a real coach. I don't love mediocrity but I'm willing to let him at least have a shot without Rhule. Sometimes you take a bad job just so you can end up in a good one. -

Next he'll want to change his jersey number to 1. -
With Denver's 1st rounder that would also give GB the ability to get one of the top QBs if they want or add to their defense. Probably too high for then to add QJ to go with Watson, but it would offer some flexibility. And Seattle is full of self righteous assholes so Rodgers would fit right in.

Because for too long some of the brightest minds in football have likely been passed over or never given an opportunity because of the color of their skin. I love to see it because it shows we're willing to hire whoever is best for the job. Plus I hope it will help us get future hot coaches and coordinators that want to come here because we're breaking down barriers.
