I've said time and time again Rhule and company sealed their fate when they shipped Bridgewater out the building and their solution was Sam Darnold. If they would have let him play out the contract they signed him with a solid roster around him we would have been in a much better position. But atlas we're in the mist of the Peter Principle from Rhule to McAdoo on down that's an anchor on this organization.

Can't be any worst than what they've been trotting out there the last two seasons.
-
Rhule and staff sealed their fate when they jettisoned Teddy who was a 70% completion guy they could have built an offence around that and groomed a QB for the future but instead they decided to turned the keys over to NY Jets bust and derail a promising year two jump with the talent they acquired Reddick, Fox, etc. And now this season they doubled down and acquired Baker a Cleveland Browns bust. I say good riddance to this staff after this year. It's funny all the people whining about Tepper now were the same ones hootin and hollaring for Richardson and family to sale the team. I cautioned it then be careful what you wish for. I say a lot of you deserve this lack luster team with your horrible takes.

Official Panthers at Dolphins Playoff Push GameDay thread
Pantherxtreme replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I always thought the strategy they had for the Cardinal game was the best going forward for a few weeks. Oh well. -
Rhule shouldn't be fired, but some reporter should ask him why it took late into the 2nd half before he decided to shadow Mclaurin with Gilmore.

Rivera played Rhule again
Pantherxtreme replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yea I can't get with this reasoning. Rivera and Washington were fighting for the division and a playoff spot last season when we beat them. I doubt he was too concerned about where Carolina was going to be drafting. -
They let Mclaurin torch us for an entire half, before trying to cover him with (I don't know) a former defensive MVP shut down corner.
-
That seemed to be the offensive game plan for Rivera.

What exactly are we rebuilding? Are the Redskins built? What about the Eagles? What about the Giants? What about the Patriots with a rookie Qb? The truth is this team is and was good enough to win all those games, coaching decisions and in game coaching cost us some winnable games this year, nothing being "built" is going to change being outcoached.

Man I just went back and checked the 2019 preseason roster and Taylor was still on the team. I knew my memory was correct. And again he looked way better than Grier.
-
Oh well never mind then I thought there Heinicke, Grier, and Allen were all on the same roster at one point.
-
What did his competition do? Because the subject is relative to how he looked compared to Grier.
-
So who are your top defenses?
-
Preseason mostly. That's the only time we as fans can really access backups. The game he did start and got hurt in he looked much better than the one game Grier started. edit: not sure if Grier ever started a game, but he did play in the regular season and looked bad.
-
Well from my couch I had saw enough whereas I thought Heinicke looked the better of the two, but I'm not paid the big bucks. I just go by the eye test.
-
What defense has? The bottom line is the Panthers were leading up to this game and still are one of the leagues best defenses. They've played games like last week more often this season than what they looked like today.
-
What you pointed out can essentially be done about every Oline, every game. The Oline while not perfect kept defenders off Cam for the most part, and he had a pocket to step into. I'm failing to see how the offensive line was a glaring issue. The refs and those bogus holding calls that kept putting our offense behind the sticks was the bigger issue.
-
I don't think anyone's hyping Heinicke like he's the 2nd coming, most people in this thread are saying the Panthers gave up on him to soon for the likes of Grier.
-
So him beating Tom Brady and our top ranked defense in back to back weeks was just flukey?
-
I mean it was bad in it's performance but Heinicke deserves credit too he was making some Favre like throws with defenders draped on him. That dude got some moxy, felt like that when he was here.
-
The defense was bad. But it wasn't that bad.
-
He's on the field now. And playing his way to being some franchise's starter.
-
They just beat the Goat a week ago. And we're a playoff team last season, that may actually be about to go on one of the those patented late season Rivera coached team runs.
-
These sure coaches and front offices sure love to outsmart themselves. Instead of just going by what your seeing on the field.
