Green Bay actually has a good defense much better than the 49ers. This game should of been reflective of Dallas and Miami with both offenses moving the ball and the first defense that gets a stop wins at the end. Nothing about 49ers defensive numbers show they were capable of shutting down anything other than an incompatible offense that clearly the Panthers have.

So do the 49ers though you look at their defensive metrics they were near the bottom in about everything that mattered. I'm sure we helped their stats now however with our (offensive) performance.

Good thing we have a schedule that might oblige that.

I'm one of the most optimistic, yall overrating the opponent posters on this board it seems. But we have no shot against the Rams, Stafford not giving us 3 picks like Purdy and they have guys on the outside that can make us look foolish, the 49ers don't they just have Mccaffrey and Kittle. Their defense can also get after the Qb and gives up some of the fewest points in the league. And one of the best coached teams. Bryce and Dave got no chance.

I can see why the Browns organization and fans would have wanted to move on from Baker due to his demeanor, and attitude disposition without the results. Bryce however is the model citizen would be the perfect face of your franchise if he was performing on the field. He's very likeable, so people think you bullying or hating on this kid when you point it out. No he's just not performing bruh, that's it!!!

And if we had landed on that fumble. our defense would have created more turnovers in the game than our offense had points at that moment. Amazing futility.

I'm going to be honest I looked at his body language and posture coming out the tunnel to start the game, and was like uh oh he just didnt seem confident ready to show the world his coming out party, he looked like he was unsure and shrinking in the moment. Maybe w'ere all just overthinking it. but it's interesting others picked up on the same thing.

That would be the most Panther thing ever they can't even throw their fans a bone and lose right.

I'll give anything for mediocrity now. Atleast under mediocrity we experienced some winning seasons and Super bowls. What we have now is futility. So in that aspect Tepper was right the mediocrity is no more.

So rock meet hard place. Defenses have rarely been caught off guard they seem to anticipate them.

And to think Tepper was so smug when he let Ron Rivera go. For the coaching trilogy he's given us since then.

But in slight defense of Bryce those rollouts are horrible and Canales just calls them over and over. They either result with a unblocked defender in Bryce's face and he has to dirt the ball or Bryce hesitating and unsure of the throw before scrambling for 2 yards.

We tried throwing it all over the yard last night it didn't work. We even threw it in goal line situations it didn't work.

CJ Stroud threw for over 300 yards against this 49ers team. Just saying, just saying....

I'm of the belief if you have a defensive minded head coach and your defense sucks you don't have a good coach. If you have an offensive minded head coach and your offense stinks you don't have a good coach. All the resources poured into the offense and a scrub defense like the 49ers held us to 3 points for entire half, after giving us 3 turnovers. Something is wrong and at the end of the day is the "coaches decision" who plays, so the buck stops there.

Yes I don't care that he has Bryce you devise a gameplan to disguise your weaknesses like good coaches do. He made a bottom 10 49ers defense look all world because he's stubborn and refuses to lean on the run game which is the strongest aspect of our offense. 49ers are the worst rushing team this season but every game they continuing lean in in the run because it sets up the pass in Shanahan's offense he's a great coach. If we switch coaches the Panthers would have dominated the 49ers, coaching matters in this league, plus I dont think Shanahan would have Bryce Young as his Qb, he sat Trey Lance down and 49ers gave up just as much draft capital for him.

Fug that dummy. Watch next week he'll try to give him 20 touches when it won't matter against a dominant Ram's team. This is the game we should have employed that strategy with our defense playing do great, instead we forcing lame duck passes and 3 and outs getting our defense gassed.

I'm so done with Caneles, we ran Rico 6 times in a game where we were down just one score for the majority of it. Chuba got 3 carries for a total of 9 carries. The Arizona Cardinals who were down multiple scores had more carries than that. We get the ball with 55 seconds to go before halftime he calls some rink-a-dink and dunk passes one resulting in a incompletion and we have to punt the ball back to the 49ers and they didn't even have to burn a timeout. Bryce Young play aside, that's not winning football from a coaching aspect, he's too pass happy, what happened to the toss runs that killed Miami and Dallas over and over and killed us when we played Buffalo. Rico got one toss play for 17 yards. What a gift of game our defense gave us, for the offense to look Jimmy Clausenesque.

Tampa is going to limp their way to another NFCS title due to how inept Pnathers and Falcons are, the Saints are tearing everything down but I feel they will be up sooner than later.

So what. Everybody knows Mccaffrey's going to get the ball the 49ers still keep pounding it. If your highly paid offensive line can't give you some push on 1st and goal at the 1 then you're wasting your money. I haven't seen Rico get stopped all season when we've handed it to him in goal line situations.

They both are the weak links at this point, Dave can't call two good games in a row to save his life, amd Bryce certainly can't play two good ones.
