The only thing I'm certain is that they'll wait until we're completely out of playoff contention before something like that happens

ESPN's Benjamin Solak on Panthers QB situation
Pantherxtreme replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'll sign two vets ala what the Giants did have a honest assessment and competition ala Indy witn Jones and Richardson and let the best man win. My picks Howell, Hineke, Brisset, Bridgewater, Mac Jones, Winston -
Disagree. This is professional sports, players are benched, cut, traded every season on every team.
-
I guarantee there's no professional athlete that thinks like this. They're concern with feeding and taking care of their families and being the best player they can be and winning. They have eyes and know better than most if a player is underperforming. Being a good teammate doesn't mean undying support, everyone like Chuba he was voted a captain, the team committee still had a meeting with Canales to put Rico on the field.
-
Several times. In the Green Bay game the pass that got picked off in the end zone Coker was open underneath. It doesn't appear he's reading the coverages correctly that's why so many passes are getting intercepted.
-
We didnt start Rico all nine games. He blew up against Miami and Dallas We had the platoon system going against Jets and Buffalo and offense looked like trash. It wasn't until after Green Bay that the formula was out on how the Panthers needed to play to win.
-
Nah this is just foggy memory. Clausen biggest weakness was his weak arm. Same thing that plagues Bryce but he's a little more mobile and can process things quicker than Clausen
-
Jonathan Taylor is having a MVP like season but he hasn't been that much better than Rico production wise given the fact that one has only started half the games this season. Pierce is good better than Coker and XL for sure. They have the edge at TE. The other guys good players but not much to write home about.

Where does Bryce rank on the all-time draft bust list?
Pantherxtreme replied to MRenshaw's topic in Carolina Panthers
Jamarcus Russell: 7 wins - 18 losses in 25 career starts, winning percentage 28.0% Bryce Young: 11 wins - 26 losses in 37 career starts, winning percentage 29.7% Oakland had the number 1 pick when they selected Russell they didn't have to give up extra assets. -

The Bears fleeced us good and still ended up with a better Qb at the end of it all. If this ain't the worse trade it's giving Minnesota and Hershsal Walker trade a run for it's money. -
This one is a little more embarrassing to be honest those others were good teams we lost to. Having a 1-8 team come smack you around in your home stadium when a win could compel you into the playoff race with the Bucs losing today is unacceptable.
-
Sports and betting go together like peanut butter and jelly. And it generates more interest for the game when people have invested interest in them. But yea with that does come corruption, but theres a 50% percent chance you're right or wrong and those odds are alot better than other investments.

We had 102 yards against the Packers had Dowdle been contained we lose that game in similar fashion to this one.
-
But every team has problems. Saint have a worst record than us they have problems. The difference between the two teams was they had a Qb making plays he threw for almost 300 yards we need our running game to rush for 150 - 200 yards to even come close to the offensive production that the Saints had because our passing attack can barely muster 125 yards.
-
If he couldn't improve against the 1-8 Saints, I doubt we getting much improvement against the Rams, 49ers. Seahawks, Bucs teams coming up.
-
The 85 Bears gave up a ton of plays to Dan Marino. We are not the 85 Bears but 17 points should be enough to win a game at home against a 1-8 team, the fact we could only manage 7 points and if not for a Justin Reid slap on Bryce Young helmet that drive would have ended it a interception. So we very well could have been shutout at home to a team that was sellers at the trade deadline playing for the top pick in the draft.
-
That he out plays Bryce and the front office looks even more silly.
-
They should get Etienne involved more and see what he could bring, if Chuba really is not healthy, he's not helping us win games in that condition.
-
I gotcha But looking at that game today the last thing I thought was man what if Chuba was healthy. It's good to have quality backups at all positions, but the Saints were selling out today to stop the run, we needed to make them pay with the passing game. We can have 4 quality backs without a Qb being able to threaten the defense It's all for nought.
-
Who says Chuba isn't healthy?
-
Would you trade Derrick Brown to get a top QB prospect?
Pantherxtreme replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
So in other words the Bears trade all over again. I'll pass bring a vet in here ala Daniel Jones for the Colts, Darnold for Seahawks and continue to build this roster up. -
Official Week 10: Saints @ Panthers Gameday Thread
Pantherxtreme replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
They didn't even want to sit Chuba ass down for Rico after he broke records, you think they're going to admit the Bryce mistake up until the very end.
