  1. It was a textbook underthrow actually. His other plays on that drive were solid
  2. Sweet pick but they were still letting the pats drive with ease, and their offense is not good. I like the Bills and overall they're a solid team for sure but I don't think their D is nearly as good this year as it was last year or in McD's first year. Might be their achilles heel against an elite O like the Chiefs later on.
  3. We were 1 year removed from 15-1 season and a SB appearance when Beane and McD left. Hindsight is 20/20 but at the time it would've been completely fuging retarded to get rid of Rivera and Gettleman, we'd have been the laughing stock of the league.
  4. Bills D isn't that good. That was embarrassing
  5. That roughing the passer is exactly why I'm losing significant interest in this sport.
  6. I think that’s a catch and fumble and will stand. Looked like a drop on initial viewing
  7. Raiders/Bengals don’t care. Go Panthers north tonight obviously
  8. Fair, but we still can... initially read your post as if you were suggesting he was available when we hired Rhule
  9. Ok but the chart is specifically focused on rushing yards. I don't really know why it was relevant at all to post this chart. Everyone here already knows Cam is way better than Darnold at running and that Rhule is a fuging idiot but this chart and thread just make no sense. If we had a relevant chart to this year then by all means.
  10. Note the dates too though, it's 2011-2014 for Cam, basically right in his prime as a runner. OBVIOUSLY Cam is still in another world compared to Darnold and Rhule is a frigging retard for his comments about them being able to do the same thing. But Cam is also nowhere near as elite as a runner as he was in that timeframe. He's still great and one of the best red zone/short yardage weapons in the league, but just not as insane as this outdated graph shows.
  11. It's hard to believe but Tepper makes Richardson look like Eddie DeBartolo. Never thought I'd miss him but he'd actually be a welcome sight right now compared to Tepper.
  12. Blackburn had 1-2 pretty solid seasons. Not amazing but at least not a weakness for us for a bit. Been terrible under Rhule though.
  13. Or back in NE. Their ST hasn’t been good this year
  14. Joe Judge should get an IV. Terrible HC, great ST coach
  15. I’ve watched him plenty and stand by my opinion. He’s not a downfield threat and has poor mobility which are significant weaknesses for modern QBs. Also most of his counting stats were accumulated in garbage time/during blow outs and against bad defenses, basically the easiest situations for QBs. Many of his turnovers have come in critical situation and moments for his team that contributed to losses. He’s shown no ability to come from behind or to participate in a shootout or really to deal with in-game adversity at all. These are the same reasons I didn’t want to draft him so it has absolutely nothing to do with the Patriots. He has great short to intermediate accuracy, and fits what the Pats need out of a QB so good for them. But there’s not a team out there that isn’t coached by Belichick or Andy Reid who could have consistent success with a QB like this. He’s and Alex Smith, Bridgewater type player. Pats have a great D, run game, OL and all around coaching so they can live with a severely limited QB. Other teams can’t, us included.
  16. Yep. And not directly related but I think it's worth noting, the best pro team in the Carolinas (Canes) has been among the most interested in smaller guys who traditionally haven't been valued and they're currently #1 in the NHL and have made the playoffs 3 straight years and been one of the best teams in that timeframe. Also Tampa Bay Lightning have taken chances on smaller players too and they've won back to back championships and have a good chance to 3 peat this year. It makes absolutely no fuging sense that these morons get in their head that you need to have some prototypical size to be worth adding to the team. Nippleshorts was the exact same way. If a guy can ball then he can ball it makes no difference what the hell he weighs in at or how tall he is or how long his arms are, etc. Get guys who can play the damn game and understand the game and fit the locker room culture. It ain't rocket science.
  17. And Mac Jones really isn't that good either. No chance he'd have done better than Sam here with our OL and coaching. Pats have the perfect system and environment for him and he still doesn't look good most of the time. Can't really complain about not going QB in this past draft, they all sucked last year.
  18. Step in the right direction anyways if this is true. Also seems like Cam won't even want to re-sign here based on his comments about playing for a 5 win team (and I don't blame him one bit).
  19. Maybe, maybe not. There will be OL who are cut that won't count towards the comp pick formula, also potential trades. Can also bank the cap space and spend in 2023
  20. LAR o-line actually hasn't been great this year, not like in recent years. Helps to have a great offensive coach and weapons but Stafford is legitimately great at playing under duress. I'm not sure he's had a great OL at any point in his entire career...
  21. Also if we play our cards right we could wind up with a fair amount of comp picks in 2023 to help alleviate the ones we've wasted.
  22. I still am a fan of the Henderson trade. If we really want to invest cap space in improving the OL and still keep guys like Reddick and Burns long term we may have to let both Donte and Gilmore walk. Horn and Henderson could be a solid starting pair and really cheap. His upside was worth the pick and Arnold was pretty worthless to us anyways. It's tough since we wasted other draft picks on Darnold but I think this one was a good value trade for a player who's better and has more upside than anyone we'd draft with that pick anyways.
  23. Easy interview answer to why did your OL suck so much: "My boss wouldn't let me play the talented young players with potential that I wanted to play and develop."
